Our 17 acre Farm is set deep within the beautiful South Downs National Park on the outskirts of the quiet village of Milland (near Liphook) in rural West Sussex (close to its border with Hampshire and Surrey). We have direct access to an excellent bridleway and footpath network through peaceful open countryside and quiet lanes as well as being on the Serpent Tail and close to the South Downs Way.
Our Glamping Pod and Shepherd's Hut are available to book all year round. We also offer stabling if you would like to take your horses or ponies on holiday with you!
Milland village (0.8 miles) has the Rising Sun pub, serving great food and drink, and Milland Stores, which stocks all your essential fresh and local produce as well as having a small cafe.

We had a wonderful stay. We arrived quite late, yet Evie was incredibly kind and still met us in person, even helping us with our luggage, which we really appreciated. The farm setting was a highlight - we were free to roam around, feed the chickens, and our little toddler absolutely loved jumping on the trampoline.
The cottage itself is beautifully secluded, giving us complete peace and privacy, and it truly had everything one could ask for, even a dishwasher in the kitchen. We especially enjoyed spending the evening by the firepit on the deck.
If you love hiking, there are plenty of great trails in the area as well. Highly recommend and can’t wait for our next stay.

We had a lovely fun few night stay in the horsebox. Weather wasnt the best but with the log fire it was still warm. Corinna was very helpful and made sure we was comfortable. We will definitely be back in future.

Staying in the Horsebox was just fabulous, so much to do, we enjoyed darts, ping pong, table football, tree net and the fabulous skate park. Our hosts were so friendly and we booked wood fired pizza for our evening meal which was delicious. Perfect for an adventurous stay for our boys 14th birthday weekend.

1 night at Quaint Farm in a National Park
Matt met us on arrival and helped carry our bags to the The Shepherds Hut which is well fitted out , nicely decorated , lovely and clean, and well equipped. Nice hot shower and towel rail. Electric fire and also a log burner should you need it for the cold weather,The bed was so so comfy and the oat biscuits and eggs were delicious !!
All windows had lovely views.

If you're looking for a peaceful & private retreat, this hidden gem is the perfect place to stay. We were warmly welcomed by Evie and daughter as soon as we arrived, even though it was a very wet & windy evening. Cottage Orne is cosy & comfortable with great views. Only natural sounds were to be heard including owls. After a day out walking with the dog in the beautiful surrounding countryside, it was lovely to be able to return & sit out on the decking, relax and warm yourself around the firepit. The fairy lights added a magical touch. The fenced cottage garden is ideal for those with dogs and having the freedom to access the extensive grounds was an unexpected treat. Thank you for another wonderful weekend. A peaceful time spent camping in amongst the apple trees with delicious cider available in the cosy tasting room. Board games to play, Apple cake to munch and clean toilets and showers with plenty of hot water. Lovely family running the show as well. Perfect.

We stayed at Cottage Orne for the August bank holiday weekend and so glad we booked it. Evie was amazing and always available if needed and our kids loved playing with the new puppies. The cottage itself was perfect for a long weekend away and catered for our family of 4 with no problems. If we are ever back in the area, I'm sure we will be back to stay.

This campsite introduced me to 'quiet camping' - I was concerned that it could be 'too quiet' for my daughter, but the barn (which is fully equipped with games, tables/chairs, and a little shop/bar) provides a central place where everyone congregates throughout the day. Totally geared up for peace and quiet, being out in nature, yet some dedicated features not typically associated with camping (compost loo, fire pit, picnic table and water tap for each pitch was a dream!).
And the hosts were friendly, full of fascinating facts and good conversation.
Would highly recommend, I'm looking forward to heading back next year.

Quiet and civilised site which reminded me why I love camping. It's not a big site but is well organised with many thoughtful touches. I appreciated the grill set in the log cabin and was impressed by the plant-based washing up liquid (no need to carry your own). The log cabin is compact but had everything we needed. The owners are friendly and manage to be discreet yet somehow on call simultaneously. My one suggestion would be to consider getting a (good) coffee machine for the shop. But, really ... it was excellent, thank you.

We loved our stay at the hut - it was perfect! Being surrounded by the beautiful scenery at the back of the farm and waking up to the incredibly friendly sheep and horses was so nice.
