We moved here in 2021 to start a camping site. It has been our dream for a long time to give people a great experience and enjoy the wonderful part of the UK that we live in. Come and make some memories. We have 27 acres, the campsite is approx 5 acres with well spaced pitches. and includes access to the wooded area and lake also. We have 2 fields that we have separated for children and dogs to play. There is a stunning lake where you can watch ducks, birds and geese. The wooded area is brimming with wildlife and wild flowers, deer are often running by in the woods. This area is a like a world away, an idyllic escape.

This is a place to feel connected to the land and to completely let go of all the pressures of modern living. Jan is passionate about bio diversity and I loved walking up to the yurt, brushing past lavender and sage and wild flowers full of bees and butterflies, picking an apple on the way - and having it for breakfast whilst looking over a most glorious sunrise view from Buzzard Yurt. Then a walk in the woods and chilling in the hammock reading and soaking up the birdsong and the sound of the buzzard up above. At night - lying on the deck looking up at a starry sky and sitting round the fire toasting marshmallows. A truly relaxing and healing few days. Thank you Jan.

Wow, wow, wow.
So we had a fantastic time at Kingfisher Yurt, relaxing under the Oak and Ash trees. Swimming pond was perfect.
Yurt was really comfortable and the kitchen was fab for dining and playing games, We hired the hot tub, which was also lovely.
Jan was a perfect host. We shall be back.

I loved staying at Bowehayes Farm.
The setting was peaceful and very unique. You have all the facilities you could ask for, including the best shower I've ever used at a camp site!

We loved our stay at Buzzard Yurt! Jan was super friendly and helpful, and the kids loved the trampoline, the pond, the hot tub, feeding the chickens, picking the eggs and just everything the lovely campsite had to offer. It was such a good break from the bustle of city life and we cannot wait to return. The night skies were delightful with a sky full of stars and hardly any light pollution anywhere near us, and our days were filled with adventure and nature at the camp. Jan's campsite is conveniently located to lots of lovely sights - Beer, Seaton, Lyme Regis. A perfect break!

Great pitch. Not soggy at all. Wonderful washing up area. Showers and compost toilet was great and there was a flushing option at best near the farm house

We loved this site. What a hidden gem! Beautiful views, grass was well kept and comfy, toilets and showers easily accessible as well as pot wash station and water if needed. Facilities extremely clean. Large fire pit close by as well as wood sold on site if needed.
Gorgeous lake just a minute walk away and really loved being able to wake up next to the sheep!
Hosts were so friendly and welcoming. They supplied a map and were on site to help with anything we needed.
I really like how the pitches are designed and they are very flat.
Super peaceful and can only hear the sounds of the birds and the sheep, which was idyllic.
Thanks again and sorry for overstaying! We misread the check out time :)

We had an amazing time! Jan was so kind showing our little boy the broody hens babysitting pheasant eggs, and we actually saw the freshly-hatched chicks! Such a peaceful place.

Howard is the best host ever. For some technical reason our booking was done at a ti è he and he family has other plans. However he still went out of her way to accommodate us. The site is perfect, quiet, among apple trees. Excellent facilities. We had the best time.

We absolutely loved our stay in this beautifully presented and cozy yurt! It was warm, welcoming, and thoughtfully set up. Our dog had a great time exploring and relaxing with us and was safely secured in the meadow. Once the rain subsided, we spent a perfect evening eating alfresco by the fire pit — such a lovely spot. The yurt had everything we needed, all clean and super comfortable. We also took a lovely long walk around nearby Coombe Hill, just a short drive away. A very wholesome weekend!

We loved our stay in the yurt. Everything inside and around the yurt has been thoughtfully planned to create a wonderfully relaxing haven. Despite the outside temperature being below zero at times during our stay, with the fire going, we were always pleasantly warm inside the yurt. We hope to return again in the future.
