Shire Camping is located in a peaceful 10 acre meadow looking towards Edge Hill. Spacious and with running drinking water, hot showers and flushing toilets. There is a footpath running alongside it taking you 25 minutes to a village shop one way and 20 minutes to a good pub the other way, all across fields. There are some amazing walks to do from the site, and being on the edge of the cotswolds there are plenty of pretty villages and market towns to explore. There are also some well regarded cycling routes in the area.

Our camping facilities are eco friendly and we have 2 compost toilets along with wash basins and washing up sinks. Two hot showers as well. Solar lighting is at the facilities and there is a fire pit available.

Was nice, clean and quiet. The children liked the place and we had a good time.. only thing the campers needs to know is the reception is the not the best so download offline maps ... We got lost following our GPS for 10 minutes before being able to find the camp site 😅

Such a great campsite with gorgeous views and super quiet with different options to set up pitch with or without vehicle. Toilets were clean and warm showers. Farm shop was a little walk through the woods so you don’t get the hustle and bustle from that at all but still have access to food/drink by foot although the site is very near local shops by car too. Lovely little walk marked out too to wander around the farm. Staff at the shop & check in were super friendly and helpful, we felt really welcomed!!

The site was easy to find. The field is huge and very private so we could all park comfortably together. There are toilet facilities up at the farm and the staff were really helpful in directing us. There are some interesting walks from the site around the former RAF Windrush and the local pub can be accessed from the site across the fields so we could easily avoid walking on the main road. I definitly recommend it as an intro to wild camping or a peaceful retreat for those in a self-contained system.

Everything you need at Wolford woods but still feels like you're out in the wild. Marcus and Petra were very welcoming hosts. It was great to have a supply of wood for a fire and hot water for showers. Wheelbarrows to transport your stuff from your car - they have thought of everything!
