What we lack in luxuries, we make up for with freedom! Space to wander, play games, stargaze and generally have fun however that looks to you: - Compost Toilets - Various Firepits/BBQs - Fire circle in the woods - Small solar set-up for charging devices/torches etc (weather permitting) - Field guides and nature identification books to borrow - Hammocks - Board Games - Mini Bushcraft Class (chargeable)

We only stayed one night as a trial so we didn’t get out & about, but the toilets/showers were clean, and the washing up shed (with charging dock) was very useful. The warden came to lend us a hammer when we were clearly struggling with our mallet, and David’s son very kindly offered help as we had car trouble. It felt like a ‘nice’, safe place to be with our young daughter.

We had a wonderful time, excellent location by the river, pub and town. It was very quiet and we had enough space for our three families to run around and enjoy all the nature available! We hired the canoe and paddle boards which were fab. The beds were very comfortable and warm, toilets and showers were decent enough but did get messy quickly with all the usage. The wash up station was very basic and some of the outside benches were a bit tatty so because of that, probably an 8/10 BUT great for families.
