Berries Farm Camping is a small eco-friendly family-run campsite, located in the heart of West Dorset Countryside. We are situated at the top of Lyme Regis, on the A3052.
Set amongst 5 acres of picturesque farmland, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and within walking distance to Charmouth, which is part of the World Heritage Coast.
With your own spacious camping spot, enjoy the panoramic views of the rolling hills of Lyme Regis. We provide generous grass only pitches for tents and camper-vans. These are unpowered sites. Unfortunately we cannot accommodate for caravans.
Nearby attractions include the Jurrasic Coast, quaint market towns and local pubs serving farm fresh food and local seafood. Enjoy River Cottage HQ for a cookery course and get a taste of local cuisine. Also near by is Lyme Regis driving range, golf course and foot-golf.
If you fancy exploring Lyme Regis, take the park and ride which is within a short walking distance South of the farm. If walking is more your thing, there is an abundance of local footpaths including the south west coastal path, with Lyme Regis just 1 mile away.
Our amenities include flushing toilets and hot water shower blocks. A designated space is avaliable for washing dirty dishes. Be advised that only cold water is provided. BBQ's are permitted; however, they must raised off the ground to prevent damage to the grass. Bricks will be provided for this purpose. Please note that campfires are now allowed at this time. Please feel free to bring your pets, but bear in mind there will be sheep on the farm.

As you'd expect from a site with such a name, there's a whole lot of space in which to relax and explore at 5 Acres, a large grassy site in the Somerset Levels.
Kids and dogs are both welcome on site here, and there's plenty of scope for them to run about and play games safely away from barbecues and campfires (which are also permitted to keep you warm and fed in the evenings). Facilities on site include firepits, a toilet and shower block and outdoor sinks with mains water.
We no longer sell logs. Nearest supplier is Knight Bros Garage.
Dogs must be kept on leads at all time. We class ourselves as a quite site so no amplified music.
The premier pitch is fully enclosed so dogs can be let off the lead. There is a maximum of six people allowed on this pitch at any one time. Visitors are allowed as long as the total number of people doesn't exceed six and they are chargeable at the overnight rate and must leave by 18:00 - Sorry, had the envelope pushed a bit!
Mains hook ups are 6Amp max rated.
Pitches are approximately 16m x 16m. The flag, firepit and pitch number line up in the centre of your pitch.
The surrounding Somerset Levels aren’t just out in the sticks – they also produce them. Willow cane has been cultivated the traditional way in this part of the county for hundreds of years and can be seen growing within a mile of 5 Acres. The Levels are also a wildlife haven, making them an all-round top choice for country walks along the many trails nearby.
And while this may be a rural retreat, it's also one that's easy to get to as it's just off the A378 (no winding country lanes to negotiate for this one…) Taunton town centre, with its wide range of shops and supermarkets, is a 15-minute drive away. The closest pub and coffee shop are five minutes away by road.

We had a wonderful stay. We arrived quite late, yet Evie was incredibly kind and still met us in person, even helping us with our luggage, which we really appreciated. The farm setting was a highlight - we were free to roam around, feed the chickens, and our little toddler absolutely loved jumping on the trampoline.
The cottage itself is beautifully secluded, giving us complete peace and privacy, and it truly had everything one could ask for, even a dishwasher in the kitchen. We especially enjoyed spending the evening by the firepit on the deck.
If you love hiking, there are plenty of great trails in the area as well. Highly recommend and can’t wait for our next stay.

Great small, tidy no fuss site, lots of sinks (almost one per pitch!) and friendly owner. Great value for solo travellers, as charged per person. A little noise from roads close by, but generally v.peaceful.

The ground is flat! Each pitch is numbered (very spacious) with it's own firepit in front of you. Very well set out. I like the one way system, easy to follow. Toilets clean. Site was easy to find as well. There is no 'view' to speak of but you are in the countryside so trees, hedges, birdsong and the stars at night. The host is a lovely person to have a chat to as well.

If you're looking for a peaceful & private retreat, this hidden gem is the perfect place to stay. We were warmly welcomed by Evie and daughter as soon as we arrived, even though it was a very wet & windy evening. Cottage Orne is cosy & comfortable with great views. Only natural sounds were to be heard including owls. After a day out walking with the dog in the beautiful surrounding countryside, it was lovely to be able to return & sit out on the decking, relax and warm yourself around the firepit. The fairy lights added a magical touch. The fenced cottage garden is ideal for those with dogs and having the freedom to access the extensive grounds was an unexpected treat. Christina was super helpful recommending bike rides and lending us an an OS map. The real clincher though was the easy access to the neighbouring woodland/forest for dog walking.

Loved staying here for 5 nights. The views are amazing, the limited pitches mean that everyone has private space and you don’t feel on top of each other. The bathrooms and washing facilities are great and the sun heated water was always perfect temperature.
Something to make it feel even more private would be to really encourage meadow flowers or longer grass between the pitches to allow the private paths to each tent to feel extra special and allow for the space to feel even more private and hidden from the other tents.

A very spacious campsite with well-maintained composting facilities. The scenic drive down to the site is beautiful, and the clear night skies make it perfect for stargazing. Martins and owls were active both day and night, adding to the atmosphere. On some alternate nights, music played nearby from around 10 pm to 4 am. While noticeable, it was at a consistent and tolerable volume, and importantly, it wasn’t accompanied by disruptive behaviour.

I love camping on Christina's land. Some may think it's very basic with portaloo's ( always smell nice and are always clean) and porta- showers ( which are lovely and hot and clean) but for us it's perfect especially for the kids and dog- not a phone in sight. We have camped there three times and will definitely be returning. Christina can not do enough for you, and always greeted with a smile.

We had a wonderful stay with lovely walks along the stour and close to Sherborne and Shaftesbury which are picturesque little towns. Amenities were good with hot showers and washing up area. We did not take advantage of the organic food available to buy, but a very nice touch. Would definitely return for another stay.

A gorgeous quiet, laid back campsite - with beautiful views and a wonderful host! Chris went out of his way to help us with knowledge of the local area and was incredibly welcoming (and my daughter loved the treats he brought round every evening) Also some of the cleanest and nicest showers and toilets i've experienced camping!

A lovely spot, close to Lyme Regis and Charmouth. The facilities were great, always clean and really nice showers! The view was gorgeous.

The cider farm is incredibly beautiful and peaceful! If you are looking for a quiet and serene retreat this is the place to go :) The cider itself is so good and would highly recommend ‘hunny bubble’

I loved it really peaceful 10 minute drive to tesco and shops lots of space for children to play really nice farm animals horses and cows
