This peaceful, sheltered site has a special character. The site is the ideal place to unwind with plenty of safe space, a meandering river and friendly atmosphere. It offers 4 acres with facilities, 7 acres of wilderness, shower block, level pitches, picturesque river, children’s playground and has been rated AA 4 star gold pennant. Becky and John both love Cornwall and fell in love with the site as soon as they saw it and it provided the perfect opportunity for a new challenge. Having only recently taken over at Willow Valley in the Summer of 2024, there are always ongoing improvements being made so make sure you keep in touch. Any returning campers will be glad to know we aren’t changing the campsite itself though. Why would we when it is already so perfect!

Lovely campsite, the pods look like Tellytubby Land! It's a bit of a walk into Bude probably 40mins but the park and ride is almost opposite the site and very reasonable. We stayed in the Tree House, it was comfy and clean. It has a kettle, microwave, toaster, BBQ and fridge which is so convenient. Would recommend taking your usual cooking kit as there are plates, mugs, bowls and glasses but not pots and pans or stove. I might also take a picnic table if you like to sit in the sun as the seating area is shady. No curtains means you need a sleep mask if you like a dark room but I loved waking up to the sight of a blue sky. Would also recommend a torch for going up and down the steps at night.

This campsite introduced me to 'quiet camping' - I was concerned that it could be 'too quiet' for my daughter, but the barn (which is fully equipped with games, tables/chairs, and a little shop/bar) provides a central place where everyone congregates throughout the day. Totally geared up for peace and quiet, being out in nature, yet some dedicated features not typically associated with camping (compost loo, fire pit, picnic table and water tap for each pitch was a dream!). And the hosts were friendly, full of fascinating facts and good conversation. Would highly recommend, I'm looking forward to heading back next year.

Mooie kleine camping op loopafstand van het strand. Wij stonden op plek 7. Heerlijk rustig, geen verkeer of vliegtuigen te horen. De omgeving is een landschap met veel smalle weggetjes met hoge hagen, wandelen kan heel goed langs de kust. Goede pub waar je kunt eten op 7 min rijafstand. Gastvrouw is vriendelijk, kinderen mogen in de tunnelkas spelen. Douche en wc is basic zoals we gewend zijn in Engeland maar prima.

I arrived on a Monday afternoon as I wanted to miss the noise and busyness at the weekend. The site was immaculate and just what I needed for a few days away. There was plenty of room to not be bothered by neighbours and plenty of the orchard pitches are close to the river which is perfect for paddling. The showers are clean and I got a decent time for £1. I didn’t have a pizza from the restaurant but they looked amazing. I loved Bredy’s Farm and will definitely come back.

The Mead offers plenty of space for campers.

We had a lovely stay in the school bus! It was surprisingly roomy and very well equipped. Hosts were very welcoming on arrival and always about should we have needed help during our stay. The campsite itself was lovely and quiet, the facilities very clean and well maintained and a useful little shop should you need something! Loved this campsite so much! It's beautiful, lots of space, really safe. Very dog friendly. Has so much to offer. One of my favourites from this stay. I stayed in the campervan, no electic hook up. Hot showers, well stocked shop. didnt get to use the pool as it closed at 6pm daily (that's the one thing I'd change!) and I was off on a course each day until 6pm. Pool opening times aside I'd give it 10/10

Weekend Trip to Forest Garden Camp Spot Cardiff

A really beautiful spot to spend time in. An alternative place not like a run of the mill camping field, you are camping close to Michele and Chris’s home and in their much loved land/garden/farm. The camper van spot can really only take a VW (SWB) sized van but the use of the outside kitchen and space makes up for the squeeze. The tent space is further away and does feel wild. There was plenty of shade and spots to sit. The rail line and road do mean there is at times some noise but I often use ear plugs camping and I wasn’t disturbed. Shower and toilet are in their house but beautiful maintained and clean and easily accessible without feeling you are disturbing them.

We loved family camping at Sally and Paul’s and will most definitely return. The site and views from Ladybird pitch were gorgeous. The facilities are modern yet in keeping with the aesthetics of the site, clean and spacious. We loved that the site was zoned wonderfully by the meadow grass to give you ample space on your own pitch whilst allowing for kids and families to socialise in view if they choose to do so. I loved that there is space for cars by each site, cleverly masked by landscaping so there are no cars in view from the pitches. A wonderful place to relax, and soak in nature.

The views across the valley from the front of The Pods are stunning - guests will love a morning coffee or an evening glass of wine sat out on the patio taking in the country air and far-reaching views. Sleeping four people in two bedrooms, The Pods are also the ideal location for families and couples to explore the Fosse Way and the Somerset countryside from. The Roman city of Bath and the seaside towns of Western Super Mare and Burnham on Sea are also only a short drive away. The main pod consists of a double bedroom, small lounge, kitchenette and shower room. Share your space with hares, deer, foxes, owls, songbirds, field voles, bees and butterflies. The views from the fields are a well kept local secret - from your tent or van look out over Hartland, Lundy island, Saunton, Croyde, Exmoor and Dartmoor, even Pembrokeshire on a clear day! FACILITIES: In keeping with our low impact approach, the fields are just fields, but with the addition of some picnic benches! A flushing toilet, drinking water, hot shower, charging and WiFi are found by the farmhouse. BBQs and fires permitted off the ground and we have fire pits for loan and logs for sale. Please pack out all rubbish and leave NO trace. Dogs welcome under close control - please avoid meadow centres in summer to protect the nesting skylarks and ensure they do NOT chase the wildlife. ACCESS: Easily accessible by 4WD, and 2WD in summer/when dry. Be aware it's a grassy uphill track, if your vehicle is not great off-road... (but everyone so far has been fine!) The views are worth the walk though! Campervans have backup options lower down near the house. THE SITE: Nature spot, relax and stargaze across our 4 fields. We recently planted 800 trees for a new woodland, created a wildlife pond, and are establishing a traditional cider orchard. Rose looks after our vegetable garden and usually has some native breed piglets. Our apiary is managed by Jon who will happily explain about bees... and sell you a jar of honey for breakfast. Note - the area is agricultural with very occasional farm noise and odour. We are pleased to be a South West Coast Path Waymaker, and welcome walkers. We also welcome anyone enjoying the Atlantic Highway or South West 660. We like classics and have spanners! Flexible arrival/departure. Buzzard also has a rustic indoor loo (close to daytime spaces.) Shared games/pool/music room with a piano and guitars. Homegrown vege and eggs often available from the organic smallholding. Welcome to join in with growing, harvesting, juicing, preserving, cooking, egg collection etc. Detox and unwind from the digital world - though you'll find wi-fi /ethernet cable in daytime spaces😉 Wild swimming in our natural swimming pond, which has a selection of kayaks and boards.
