Weekend Trip to Foot of the Downs
Me and my partner stayed at Skylark pod and it was very nice, lovely scenic getaway for our anniversary. The bed was comfy and the shower was very good. The only issue was there was quite a lot of dust cobwebs around so it wasn’t as clean as we expected. The sofa is also very uncomfortable. Would recommend though.

This spot was perfect. Despite it being November and seeing a little more rain than we probably would have liked it didn’t take away the experience. Jayne was accommodating to our needs allowing us a fire pit as it was out of season. Would be back!

We had a lovely stay, the campsite was beautiful and had everything we needed! The facilities are great, and the bucket showers were a lot of fun (as well as the nice hot showers next to them!).
There was lots of space between the tents so you felt like you had your own area, and the surrounding area was great to go for a walk or drive to some lovely beaches.
Maria & Raf were lovely and welcoming - we will definitely be back next year :)

Lovely campsite, loads of space for kids to roam, beautiful views over the valley, great facilities - the compost toilets, showers and washing up area were all clean and well maintained. Maria and Raf were delightful and super chilled about, for example, another family joining us one evening for a bbq. Would definitely go back.

3 nights at Foot of the Downs
If you want peace and quiet with nature, thats the spot. The "pod" was better than 5* hotel in bath. No seriously. Looked after, has everything you need. Enough space (for 2), possible 4 i would say. Needed more forewood, Angela replied within few minutes. Amazing host. If things will turn different will be coming back. Absolutely loved it.

Very nice place to stay, lovely countryside and hosts. We brought cycles with us so it was easy and quick (9 mins) to get to the closest village which had a Sainsbury local and some pubs and restaurants.

A simple , peaceful campsite with all the basics - clean shower, toilet, and washing-up area. Flat pitch, quiet surroundings, and great walking routes with pubs in easy reach. The hosts were incredibly welcoming, and their dog Cub completely stole the show. Very affordable, and they happily accommodated my friend's camper on the second night. Would return in a heartbeat just to see Cub again!
