Bill and Helen are so lovely and accommodating. A very ebullient and energetic couple. They rallied all the campers together on our last night to play volleyball as the site was closing for the season the next day. There’s a volleyball and badminton net in the middle of the field with rackets etc supplied if you just want a fun knock up. There pitch sizes are great are really generously spaced out. Loved the llamas and the fresh hen eggs that Helen left out for grabs one morning.! Couldn’t fault this place. We will be back.

Group of 4: all early/mid 20s
Pros:
- Loads of space to pitch / feels private
- Easy to get to
- Mel (host) was really helpful and welcoming
- Clean and relatively flat site
- We had the fire pit/wood bundle and thought it was well worth the money
- Access to sink & clean water
- Plenty of walks nearby (we did the lacock circular hike on AllTrails which was a short drive away & £5 to park in the nation trust car park all day)
Might bother some people:
- The toilets are porta-loos (they were clean though)
- No shower facilities for longer stays

If you looking for mod cons it’s not for you as it’s a field with a portaloo. I’m not gonna lie though, that’s what we wanted. Out in the wilds. It was beautiful. I’d defo recommend.

Lovely big flat field next to a quiet lane with good access. Nice view out to the White Horse on the hill and close enough to a pub :)
We basically had the whole place to ourselves, but there is loads of room.
Recommended.

A wonderful small site with all the facilities you need. Bill made us feel truly welcome. A short walk from the site into the woods and to the river, perfect for the dog to cool off and swim. Some evening noise from Sandy Balls but as explained in the site description. It was handy having those site facilities right next door. We’d definitely return.

It was great. The facilities are really good and the owners are friendly. I would stay again but not on pitch 2 as it's on a hill and our bed was a bit lopsided! The toilets should also just be unisex as I used the men's when it was free and got tutted at even though there was a queue for the women and no men when I went in and the toilets were just toilets not anything like a urinal or like a load of toilets. Just single toilets both exactly the same. Anyway, that's just a detail and overall we had a brilliant time thank you!

Stayed here on Saturday night … first time here. Lovely and peaceful. Toilets were immaculate. Sat-nav didn’t quite get us there but a text to Mel was answered very quickly. Great spot. Thanks ☺️ x

Lovely site, very friendly will great owners.
We stayed for 10 nights and had a great time.
If you want a very quite site this my not be for you as you get quite a bit of noise from the nearby Sandyballs site.

Helen and Bill are the best! Easy to check in and set up a great location the site is lovely.
Great for children and adults alike friendly and hospitable can't recommend enough.

We had amazing stay at the campsite of Bill and Helen. Everything was very clean, spacious pitches and very lovely hosts. The campsite was very close to the entrance of The New Forest, which was easy to visit from the campsite.
Our kids had a good time with the alpacas, the playground and just being able to run around.

A brilliant small camp site for families with generous pitches, a games area in the middle and a young childrens play area with slide
The owner is very helpful and made us feel very welcome. Children are encouraged to help feed the chickens each morning.
The guests at the site were welcoming, many being return campers who had used campsite for years.
A lucky find for us as there are plenty of easy walks in all directions from the campsite. A short walk to the nearest inn for food and a drink.
