While the facilities are basic they are perfect as a base for exploring a truly picturesque part of Kent. We had an amazing time and really loved being able to bring our puppy along for the holiday!

We had the most amazing overnight stay at the Shepherd’s Hut with our three young children and our dog. Laura gave us the warmest welcome - she was so friendly, helpful, and made us feel completely at home right away. The hut itself was spotless, beautifully presented, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we could possibly need.
The kids absolutely loved exploring the surroundings, and it was such a safe, peaceful space for them to run around and enjoy the fresh air. Our dog was just as happy - plenty of room for walks and a truly pet-friendly atmosphere.
Evening by the firepit under the stars was magical, and waking up to the sound of birds and stunning countryside views was the perfect escape from everyday life.
Laura went above and beyond to make our stay special. We honestly didn’t want to leave!

We enjoyed our stay at The camp surroundings are well maintained, what I noticed is that no annoying flies buzzing around when sitting out and while cooking!.
The host and people on site are very helpful and friendly. One night we needed help with lighting a camp fire and they were so quick to respond.
The facilities in the camp are a bonus, if the weather is nice you won't get bored.
Ladies toilets were okay my kids complained about the men's!!

Weekend Trip to Sindles Farm Glamping and Camping
Laura is the best host and the Pod was perfect!! The bed was super comfy, pod was really clean and the showers and toilets 10 out of 10. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting a peaceful night or few away. The little spot is peaceful and secluded just what we wanted !! Two very happy campers 🙂

Lovely weekend at the Hampshire hut at Sindles farm. Had a view of the maize fields, lovely walks on the door step. Stansted House and garden centre a short walk away. Chichester and wittering Beach a short drive away. Laura’s communication was great, so it was easy to find. The bathrooms were super clean too.

Weekend Trip to Southwood Park Estate
Loved the camp vibe and the people are very welcoming and friendly. The campsite is very clean and things are there for everyone likeness to enjoy.
The staff is very sweet to help. You just have to ask.
Make sure to get your cooking equipments like if you want to cook near your tent. There is stove and fireplace. You can also use the open kitchen BBQ to cook if you want.
Get yourself a camp chair if you want to sit comfortably outside next to the fireplace near your tent and an outdoor lamp
Each camp is separated so you have ample privacy
The camp area is beautifully designed and decorated which looks great during daytime.
Breakfast is scrumptious and you can have food and drinks throughout the day in the restaurant.
The campsite hosts are super nice and loves to take good care of their guests

When to go
Visiting the Seven Sisters is a popular choice for day-trippers from London, and viewpoints can get crowded in July and August. Make an early start to snag a parking spot or opt for a weekday visit out of season to enjoy the views to yourself. Camping at Seven Sisters Country Park is possible from April through October only, but some campsites within the South Downs National Park stay open year-round.
Know before you go
- The Seven Sisters cliffs are located between Seaford and Eastbourne, along the south coast of Sussex. The main access points are from Seaford to the west, or Birling Gap in the east. Parking is available at both sites.
- There is a Visitor Centre, restrooms, a café, and paid parking at the Seven Sisters Country Park. From the park, it’s a 3-mile walk or drive to reach the cliffs.
- The Seven Sisters Country Park campsite is a walk-in, tent-only ground with toilets, a cold water shower, and drinking water. You’ll need to bring a stove and all other camping gear with you.
- The cliff-top walk is exposed, so wear hiking shoes and weather-appropriate clothing. Coastal winds can be strong, so you might want a light jumper even in summer, and choose a hat with a neck strap.
- The cliff viewpoint at Birling Gap is wheelchair accessible.
