Hello Campers,
We are a 125 acre property that has 36 holes of championship disc golf. The North Oconee River runs through our property as well as three ponds throughout. We have plenty of room to pitch your tents. It really depends on how far you would like to be from the bathhouse. We are 6 miles from Lake Lanier and the Chattahooce River, and a short drive to hiking/mountain biking trail heads.
We have a wonderful bathhouse with restrooms, showers and laundry just a very short walk from our sites (maintained by the staff at the park).
We're also pet-friendly and love our furry campers! Just add the pet fee for each pet in the extras section at check out or send us an email letting us know ahead of time and we will get that added. We just ask that you do not leave your pet alone in the tents at any time unless properly crated. You are financially responsible for any damage that is done to our accommodations by your pets.

The space
We're right in the middle of the city, a short distance from many attractions. But when you set foot on the farm, you'll feel like your miles away.
The tiny house sits behind a concrete block facade that remains from an old house. The space in front of the house may look empty, but it has been used by the farmers for seed starts. In the future, we will be converting the space to a patio with seating and ping pong.
The water heater is small - pretend you’re glamping! You can get about a 5 minute shower or a good excuse for skipping it altogether.

You may wander the farm, but please stay off the beds and be mindful that these guys work really hard!
The farm is pretty quiet January and part of February.
Other things to note
There is also a vintage Airstream on the property and is also rented out on Airbnb.
This is a tiny house; along with a tiny house comes a tiny water heater. We have turned up the temperature, but please plan on short showers.

The second room is a wellness space, perfect for an intimate yoga session and furnished with floor cushions.

Our space is easily accessible via I-20 and I-285, or by taking surface streets since we are located in-town. We are in a quiet neighborhood with plenty of on-street parking.
Tiny Shirley was completed in June 2021 and is our way of re-entering the short-term rental space post-pandemic.

You can really tell when hosts have put lots of love and attention to detail in a property. The airstream was comfortable and fully stocked with essentials as well as fun touches like books and games. We could hang out on the deck, with its fans and string lights, for hours... it was a quick visit, but it was the perfect place to celebrate our son's 5th birthday morning. This campsite was exactly what we were looking for. Tent camping with upgraded amenities that made it easier with two kids under three.
Tent was clean, there were games and outdoor toys available for the kids, the grass was well maintained and we spent our entire weekend barefoot.
Air conditioning was available if needed, but we didn’t use it.
We were 7 minutes drive from the Georgia renaissance festival. Our entire weekend was magical and our boys’s first time camping and first renn fest was absolutely spectacular.

I have no words to describe how magnificent it feels to be in that place. It is cozy, relaxing, and deeply spiritual. You can feel the peace in the air—and even more so, feel your body de-stress as it reconnects with nature. It is a very romantic setting where you can reconnect with your partner. I stayed there to celebrate my 8th anniversary, and I have absolutely no regrets. The place is very quiet and very private; we were treated exceptionally well, and the staff was very friendly. My wife and I will definitely be back. I felt that our stay was far too short.
The place was well-appointed and ready for our arrival.
My only recommendation is to add more kitchen utensils.

We loved the area and the vision being developed. The tent was very comfortable and it weathered the severe thounderstorm that passed through over night. Lots of land to roam and explore and a pond for fishing (bass). Loved the hammocks and hiking trails.
This would be a great place for a family reunion or other large gathering wanting to have space and be out in nature. Hosts were great! We had a lovely chat and tour to see what's ahead in their plans. Highly recommend following to see what comes next!

Decided to take a light camping trip while recovering from surgery, this camp site was so nice! It was private, we had a secure place to park, and it felt like a little hidden piece of nature tucked away in the suburbs.
It had all of the amenities we needed and then some. The outdoor bathroom was close enough to get to, even in the rain. And the yurt stayed dry through the thunderstorms. The bed was comfortable. Having a fan was nice, especially on warm humid nights. It was close enough to the city for days/nights out and far enough away to explore the surrounding area.
Already thinking about a return trip and would definitely stay again.

We had such an amazing stay here! The site is beautiful, peaceful, and so thoughtfully put together. There were space heaters and fans throughout, plus two fire pits (one outside and one inside) that made everything feel extra cozy.
The kitchen was fully stocked with cookware, dishes, and utensils, and they even left us a dozen farm fresh eggs to enjoy — such a generous touch. There was plenty of pre-cut firewood along with everything needed to easily start a fire.
What really stood out were all the added comforts — blankets, books, board games, and even a TV with an Xbox and plenty of games and movies. It truly felt like camping with all the comforts of home.
The campsite is quiet, private, and feels very safe, while still being close enough to town if you need anything. The host was kind and accommodating, especially when a website glitch affected my original Valentine’s booking. They communicated clearly and helped us rebook for the following weekend without any issues.
My girlfriend and I absolutely loved our time here and will definitely be back!

My daughters and I had a wonderful stay. The mattresses were genuinely comfortable, and the aromatherapy diffuser was a nice touch.
The lodge restaurant was incredibly convenient with good food, saving us from meal planning. The nearby trails were easily accessible for exploring.
All tent amenities worked well—Keurig, mini fridge, and climate control functioned as described. Our only issue was the coffee maker lacked water, but we had some packed for hiking.

We really enjoyed our stay. The camper is the perfect size for two people. We also had our two small dogs. Unfortunately it was really cold when we were there, so we couldn't take full advantage of the amenities (like the hammocks!!). Space heaters were provided in the camper and bathroom and took the chill out of the air. There's also a wood stove in the barn, which we used one night. However, since the barn is open to the outside, the space really doesn't heat up and you have to be sitting directly in front of the stove to warm up. Nonetheless, it's a beautiful space with lots of homey details. Also, the fireplace and fire pit were prepped with kindling and firestarter--making it super convenient to get the fire started.
The bathroom is nice and spacious; I loved the rain showerhead, and the toiletries provided. There's also a nice little kitchen area, including dishes, a small fridge, electric cooktop and a few pots/pans, coffee maker, and even an ice maker.
The string lights outside the camper are pretty bright--it would be nice if they were on a timer or if there was a remote/instructions for turning them off at night. That's really my only complaint.
Kaitlin was friendly and easy to communicate with. We had no issues accessing the property and orienting ourselves.
I'd definitely come back, preferably in a shoulder season when I could take full advantage of hanging out in the barn and hammocks. It's a lovely, magical little spot!

Weekend Trip to Peace Apalachee

1 night at Glampsite 17 Acre Farm South of ATL
A most magical spot that is both expansive and private! It's hard to believe that it could be even better than it is in the photos, but it is. The barn space is so unique, welcoming and well set up. The trailer bedroom space was comfortable and cozy, even in subzero overnight temperatures. The showerheads and water pressure are great, and we were able to prep food in the generous kitchen space. This is great find for those passing through and for those visiting Atlanta.
