My friend and I were bonkers enough to camp here on NYE and we already can’t wait to return. Honestly the best NYE we’ve had! Everything about our stay was 5*, from booking to leaving. Sian was an absolute legend, we had the best pitch on the mountain. Absolutely stunning views. Fire pit was awesome, and the sheep were an added bonus! Lovely little collie pup came to say hi too.
Thank you for an epic new years adventure, we will definitely be back!

We loved camping at Hazel Mount Fellside. The view was stunning and it felt more like a piece of nature with some scattered campsites than the opposite, which you most often find. Ruth was a very nice and welcoming host.

Absolutely loved it , always wanted to try wild camping without being to wild if that makes sense, beautiful views all round, rugged scenery, great pitches, was a bit wet and blustery when I went but it was an amazing site and yes a 4x4 is recommended, hope to be back very soon.

We were lucky enough to get the site for ourselves for this trip and it was absolutely magical. the land and its views are so beautiful, it’s the first campsite i’ve been to that felt connected to the land it was on :’) ruth’s passion for the place shone, and all of the animals are so cute and special and it was so peaceful being there

We loved camping on the hill top! There was other campers present but quite far away so we go our own privacy & wild camp experience. The hills up to the camp are not suitable for a typical car but we drove to where we could and carried our bags up which wasn’t too much of a fuss. We were greeted by a man who provided us fire wood & the fire pit. He retired later to check if we needed anymore too. Very friendly and accommodating. We were also accompanied by the cutest border collie named moss who was the cutest pup ever. The clear night stars were amazing, witnessed 4 shooting stars and woke up to the most beautiful sunrise. Definitely recommend ✨

It’s a really beautiful natural space and well connected to Millom, Lake Conniston, the stone circle and many other beautiful places to visit and for convenience.

When we first arrived we phoned Llŷr for our Sherpa service answered straight away and had someone there in 3 minutes we were shown all the campsites available on the land we were at the top had a beautiful view we couldn’t get enough off and told if we needed anything to pop a phone call were 100% coming back sometime in the near future 10/10 would recommend

The site was really peaceful with amazing views of the fells and estuary. Ruth showed me around and explained the little extras like the lending library and tiny snack shop. It was so nice to get away from it all and relax in the serene surroundings. Bluebell pitch was exactly as described with some amazing trees. The wildlife (including a tawny owl, woodpecker and a frog) were an unexpected bonus.
I would definitely recommend the site to everyone. Thank you Ruth for a lovely stay.

We loved our stay on primrose pitch. Listening to Osprey, looking onto beautiful views and we were lucky to have a clear night to see the stars. Ruth was so welcoming and has created a haven to restore nature and allow space for the mini beasts as well as sheep, chickens, geese and a horse. We were lucky to stay on the summer Solstice weekend and visit the amazing stone circle close by. We will definitely be back.

It was a beautiful site, with lovely views for the sunset and sunrise, and it felt like we had it all to ourselves which was amazing. Even though there were other people pitched around, everyone had their own space hidden away on the hill. Jess was helpful getting us set up too. Thank you!

Ruth was absolutely fantastic. Lovely location and it was nice to be nestled away on her farm.
Honestly though, we'd come back just to spend some time just to have lively intelligent conversation with Ruth.
If you're looking for a fully catered experience with all the bells and whistles then this place isn't for you. If you're looking for your basic needs to he met and have a respect for the land then look no further.

Great site, very quiet and perfect for what we wanted. Semi wild camping with good access to the mountains. Llyr was very helpful and the site is clean and has some great pitches. Recommend the pitch just above the the two ponds with the wood line just behind you. 4x4 needed.

What a gorgeous stay here! Stayed in the glencroft for two nights. I was able to ask Rich lots of questions before booking. The setting is beautiful and the pod even more so.
Lovely welcome basket and all you need is provided. You just need your food, a costume for the hot tub and you’re in for a perfect stay. I slept like a log for 2 nights and the weather made it even more perfect. There is plenty to do within 1 hour of the pods and we opted for 2 days of hiking so the hot tub was a welcome relief! The under floor heating is also fantastic. The shower was a little temperamental you couldn’t get a balance between hot and cold but if that’s a stretch to find anything to improve on. I hope I’ll be back one day

Weekend Trip to Ravensdale Glamping Retreats
Me and my girlfriend stayed here for two nights and we loved it. It’s set in a private area with lovely glamorous pods.
I booked this for my girlfriend’s birthday and it did not disappoint. Access to a private hot tub, bbq and indoor speakers in the ceiling really allowed us to relax while there.
On a night we chilled in our room and had a movie night which had access to Netflix, Disney and all other platforms.
I would definitely recommend this to anyone wanting a chilled weekend, while also only being about 25 minutes from the city of York.
Thank you to the hosts for being nice and available to us if we needed and also recommending some walks to go on.
