Lovely campsite with excellent facilities. All very clean and in good condition. The hosts were very helpful and the little shop is stocked with some great stuff. Considering how remote the site is, it was very easy to find. The area it's in is great for peaceful walks.

Had all you needed - showers, toilet, somewhere to wash up. Even had the possibility of a camp fire which kept us very warm during the early spring. Only a 10 minute drive from Buxton so very convenient. Also many Alltrails routes nearby for any keen hikers.

The Hollies was well directed using Google Maps- got an area just by the toilets and the showers (£1 for 5 minutes hot water)- only other people there were a couple with a large camper van and a dog on the Wednesday, so basically had the run of the place- lucky with the glorious weather- owners husband was friendly and helpful throughout the stay- showers : toilets modern and cleaned daily- well maintained grasslands, only looked to be one tiny boggy bit ( field 2 ) in the entire 6 acres- I prefer off peak times for stays, so this won’t be a reflection of holiday times/ weekends, but a fantastic 3 days nonetheless. Beautiful views. Super friendly hosts who were very welcoming. The shower and toilet facilities were clean throughout our stay. The land was tidy and well laid out. There is a shop with all supplies you may need to get with an honesty box for payment. Lovely quiet site. A good little pub a 20min walk away. Campfires provided for each pitch. Would definitely recommend and would love to go back!

Amazing stay, peaceful with beautiful views of the mountains and some wildlife. Stream is clear running and the land is well kept. The toilets and showers are clean and well kept also . Will definitely be returning! Loved it.

We loved the log cabin. Took the dogs for a couple of days, the place is lovely. The weather wasn't the best, so after a couple of wet an rainy walks (which the dogs LOVED) we just hunkered down in there. Played games, drank wine, listened to music. Its perfect to hide away for a couple of nights.
