Whether you’re paddleboarding on local beaches, pursuing outdoor activities in the New Forest or mooching around the nearby towns, there’s a great balance between civilisation and peaceful countryside at In Nature Camping, part of Coast & Country Camping Club in Hampshire
Under a mile from the edge of the New Forest National Park and 10 minutes’ drive away from beaches, there’s lots on the agenda here: days at the beach, visits to nearby historic towns and properties as well as shopping in local villiages.
There’s a microbrewery 10 minutes' walk away, which serves drinks like small-cask beer, handcrafted ales and ‘unfined’ beer. A five-minute drive away, there’s another café with pick-your-own farm produce activities.
The closest beaches for strolls, snoozes, swimming and the likes are Avon beach (10 minutes), Highcliffe beach (10 minutes) Barton-on-sea beach (10 minutes). As for interesting local towns with shops and cafés, make your way to Highcliffe (five minutes), Christchurch (10 minutes), New Milton (five minutes) and Milford on Sea (15 minutes). The main road from Lyndhurst to the coast runs just a short distance from the field, making it nice and easy to access local attractions.
What about the place you’ll be calling home for your Hampshire holiday? Off-grid, it’s very much a wildlife haven. Try your hand at self-sufficiency (barbecues and firepits are allowed, weather conditions permitting) or grab your meals locally.
There are four hot showers, six toilets and two washing-up sinks for those of you who decide to dust off the old camp stove and try cooking under the stars.

West Holme Glamping is a micro-site with pre-erected bell tents in the Dorset Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Just the job for romantic mini-breaks or holidays for small families, it's set in 20 acres, so there’s plenty of privacy and lots of space to roam around.
The bell tents here come equipped with a double bed, rugs, picnic tables, lanterns, a gazebo and a gas barbecue. The three showers and three toilets are shared between six tents.. You'll just need to bring your own bed linen and towels or add them to your booking.
You can explore the area by car – medieval castles, beaches, National Trust sites and the Jurassic Coast are all less than half an hour’s drive away. Durdle Door and Lulworth Cove are 20 minutes' drive away. Pretty market towns like Dorchester (also 30 minutes) or seaside resorts like Swanage (20 minutes) are all worth a mosey, while historic Wareham has Saxon town walls and riverside churches to explore. The sandy beaches of Studland and Swanage are also within half an hour's drive of the site.
If you’re feeling energetic, the Isle of Purbeck has plenty of walks and bike rides on the rocky peninsula overlooking the English Channel, as well as parts of the South West Coast Path.
The local farm shop is a 2 minute walk and sells the very best of local Dorset produce if you fancy cooking on the barbecue. And if you don’t, there’s a cosy tea shop attached, and there are plenty of gastropubs serving real ales and great grub in less than a 15-minute drive too.

There is a flushing toilet, hot shower and dressing room for your group’s exclusive use.
Half board accommodation
Dinner will be cooked and served exclusively for your group in the evening: Choose from woodfired pizzas, barbecue or feasting menu, or write your own menu.
The following morning bacon baps, tea & coffee will be served.

Cott Farm is licensed for indoor and outdoor wedding ceremonies. Contact us if you’d like to add your wedding ceremony to a small group glamping experience.
IMPORTANT
It is very important all guests are aware Cott Farm is a licensed premises. This means bringing your own food or drinks is strictly prohibited and quiet hours must be observed by your whole party.
A fire pit with logs and speakers for music are provided in our outdoor seating area. Fires and music are not permitted in the camping field.
Please respect the land and the animals that inhabit it by taking all litter home with you (in particular cigarette butts and other small items can be fatal to animals).
Sorry, dogs are not permitted.
Our campsite isn’t the place for drunken shouting, loud music or unsupervised children, but is a haven for groups wanting a private space to enjoy each other’s company and delicious food.
An additional £500 refundable deposit is required for all group bookings. This must be paid before your arrival and will be refunded after your departure so long as there is no damage or rule violation.

Claire’s land is very beautiful and peaceful. Our tent was in a little clearing in the wood which gave us privacy and an outlook of mature trees. The Bedouin tent was spacious, well equipped and very comfortable. Claire was very helpful and approachable. We immediately felt welcome and well looked after.
This site is in a beautiful part of Berkshire with lots of activities for everyone. I wholeheartedly recommend this site.

Andrea’s tent is a beautiful and comfortable stay with a stunning Purbeck view. It is immaculate and thoughtfully designed with everything you need. The bed is very comfortable, and it was handy to hire bedding and kitchen. The firepit is a nice touch. Shower/bathroom facilities are decent. We stayed and our friends were able to camp next to us. The campsite is quiet and well spaced out. Loved our stay - thank you!

Fantastic. We had the best weekend here. Claire provides everything you could need and more which makes the entire experience so much easier, especially with kids. Bathrooms and tents were really clean, all facilities in great shape. Grounds are beautiful with plenty of big old trees and space to explore. Claire was super kind and helpful and even let our kids hold her ducklings which was a real highlight for them. Would absolutely recommend and hope to return!

I had the most amazing camping experience here after not camping for 10 years, and it couldn’t have been better! 🏕️ The view is absolutely stunning, and the bell tent was a great size – clean, comfortable, and really cosy. The toilets and showers are quite basic, but honestly perfect for this kind of stay.
The host was super helpful with excellent communication throughout, which made everything easy and stress-free. I especially loved the firepit, and wood was available, which made the evenings extra special. 🔥✨
Overall, this place exceeded my expectations and gave me the perfect return to camping. Highly recommended!

We had an absolutely fantastic time staying in the bell tent. We were already familiar with the field, having camped there with our own tent in the past. But it was so nice to just arrive and have everything set up, including really comfortable beds, particularly travelling with a young child. It makes life much easier. The tent is surprisingly spacious, so can imagine that even in bad weather it would be a really pleasant experience. Everything we needed was provided and the plug sockets were very handy for charging phones, etc. There were even extra blankets in case we got cold. The views are stunning, the toilet and shower facilities are very clean and well maintained. It is a great location for a family holiday, close to Corfe, Swanage and Studland. Andrea was an excellent host and incredibly helpful and responsive to messages before we arrived. I would wholeheartedly recommend the bell tent and look forward to returning in the future.

The farm setting is beautiful, close to the town, and the views of Corfe castle are stunning.

Tom was very accommodating and an absolute pleasure to deal with. We booked and stayed in one of the bell tents, they were very spacious, clean and the supplied mattresses were a godsend. The grounds and views are beautiful. Very quiet and just perfect to relax and chill. The shower/toilet facilities were great as well feels like you are on mains water, great pressure and everything was clean and tidy.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would absolutely recommend to others and we will certainly be back again.

It was great to return to Downshay Farm and stay in Andrea's bell tent. All you needed was there - bbq, table, relaxing chairs, and all the plates etc. Even washing up liquid! And very comfy bed. It's like your own private garden with fabulous view of Corfe castle and the sunset.

Really lovely tranquil place to stay. Tents were comfortable and well equipped. We enjoyed the hammock for relaxing, as well as the lake to swim in.
We used the hot tub- be aware that it is wood fired.. the fire is started for you but you need to be there an hour and a half before you book to keep it going (it is very near to the lake and the tents though).
There’s a pub very nearby which has good food if you don’t fancy cooking.
Overall a lovely place to stay. Good location and set up making you feel at one with nature.
