Beautiful camping spot in the Black Mountains. Loved the separate pitches in the meadow, with plenty of space for the kids to run around. The swing and the stream were a hit for the kids, and lovely walks from the campsite. The facilities were basic, but fine for our needs and perfectly clean. Thank you for sharing your lovely farm.

Beautiful area and lovely camping! The farm shop had lovely steaks and anything you might forget you need! Aswell as fire logs and burner pits to hire. 10/10 will visit again

Such a great site! Nestled on the mountainside, very natural setting, fire pits and special flat areas for vans. Host was so very welcoming and friendly. Exactly what I'd hoped to find. The walks directly from camp were stunning, lots of different routes to choose from. For families there were self-guided nature activities on site too. Will definitely be going back!

3 nights at Butt Farm, Beverley

We’ve just had a lovely, long weekend camping, at Butt Farm. It was so simple getting into site and set up, we recieved a text in the morning with instructions where to find our pitch. As a family of 4, the kids were over the moon to have two goats, on the edge of the field, a free roaming chicken and site cat, which made staying on a working farm that bit more special for them. The toilets/showers and sinks were always clean, which was lovely! The showers were big enough to have a spot to get dry in, with plenty of hooks for your clothes and toiletries, especially handy with the kids. Jen was so helpful, with anything we needed. Overall it was such a laid back, relaxing place to be! We even woke up to an Easter Sunday treat by our tent. Just looking around the site you can tell how much hard work Jen and Oly put In, to make sure it’s a lovely place to be!

We loved camping here! Pridie was super friendly and very informative about her land and surroundings. She took the time to chat with us and made us feel very welcomed. The Land is beautiful and can’t wait to come again the summer.

Oh my goodness. This site was simply magical. We were blessed with beautiful weather, but I’m sure no amount of rain could take away from this beautiful place. Pridie clearly loves and cares for her land. The pitches are large and well laid out, maximising privacy, it was quiet when we were there but I imagine it never feels “busy.” A fire pit is a great addition and the wood bundle was brilliant value for money. The composting loos were fab, the shower facilities basic but clean and hot! Washing facilities were great with eco-friendly washing up liquid provided. Plugs with USB in the Byre (where washing facilities are) for charging your tech (but hardly any signal - bliss.) We missed Pridie’s walk but overheard a bit of one and chatting with her she is clearly extremely knowledgeable about the land she cares for and I would definitely sign up for a walk next time we go. So many beautiful walks on your doorstep, with helpful walks highlighted in the Byre for you to explore, which was really helpful and led to us discovering some stunning walks nearby. This will be one of the very rare sites which we will revisit.

Beautiful views and incredibly peaceful setting. Pridie was super welcoming and friendly. I can imagine that if the site was busy then the facilities would be in high demand, there is only one shower and it's in the same room as the only flushing toilet (there are two eco loos in the camping fields) but it was no problem when we stayed.

We absolutely love camping on Pridie and James’ land, it was perfect back to basic camping, compost loo and shower/wash room, plenty of space and outstanding views. We will 100% be returning especially when the sauna is built! This campsite was so peaceful and welcoming! The horse and sheep in the meadows next to your pitch are just incredible! Also worth getting a box or two of wood as the fires in the evening just top the day of perfectly! If you want a lovely refreshing weekend I can’t recommend this site enough! We didn’t want to leave!
