There’s a great bus network with regular buses going to all parts of Herefordshire and into Wales with a bus stop by the pub. Each accommodation yurt is solar powered and has its own timber framed and canvas field kitchen, a bathroom cabin with a modern compost loo and its own private deck with a shared shower block centrally located between the four yurts. Pets are welcome and the five acre meadow is securely fenced all around

Weekend Trip to Sunbank Accommodation, Llangollen

A wonderful, cosy space with great views! The directions were easy enough and quite straightforward to access the Yurt. The facilities were clean and well organised. We especially appreciated the electric blanket provided but with the log burner on, it was comfortably warm inside! The reading books and board game was a nice touch, too. I would highly recommend. A few suggestions: Some light directly outside of the Yurt would be helpful as it got quite dark and was hard to locate the door handle at times.

Weekend Trip to Greenoak Hideout

We had such a lovely stay at Greenoak. The hosts were so friendly and approachable and there were lots of lovely small touches that made the yurts feel homely and comfortable. The log burners and electric blankets meant that we were warm over night and had a really comfortable sleep. We are looking forward to going in the Summer to be able to enjoy more daylight hours. The boys (4 and 7) loved all of the friendly animals and the play equipment on the land, as well as the hot tub! We will definitely book again and would recommend to our friends and family! Thank you for a lovely stay and we look forward to visiting again next year!

Weekend Trip to Greenoak Hideout

The setting was just perfect for our family of five (including two dogs and a 4 year old). The Yurt was comfortable, clean and very cosy. The private shower and toilet facilities were great, as was the hot tub. We had a trip to the local nature reserve during our stay, however think our daughter and the dogs were just as happy in the grounds with lots to explore, very friendly animals and lots of activities including trampoline and climbing walls. Thank you.

We absolutly would recommend a stay in the Yurt, it had everything we needed for the perfect stay. The location is ideal for a quiet, reflective break in nature. Listening to the owls and nightjars calls from the woods of an evening was a particular highlight. If you need a detox from the hectic world to relax and restore its the perfect space to do so. The salad, steak and cheese hamper was amazing value, and the coffee and pancake stuff provided made us feel so welcome. Thanks Anna, i am sure we will be back again, Hayley, Andy & Greta doggo 🐶

We loved the glamping experiance yurt was nice and cosy and had everything we needed inside from pots and pans glasses to camp stove and kettle . Hot tub was fantastic stayed warm for hours. Farm animals are loverly and we enjoyed feeding them. Farm dog alfie is the cutest little dog ever. Christian is a fantastic host and we felt very relaxed. X

We had a wonderful family weekend in Little Owl. The yurt was very comfortable and there was everything we could need nearby in the kitchen and toilet/shower block. We all enjoyed exploring the woods then relaxing in the hammock and roasting marshmallows over a campfire. We had two great day trips, canoeing on the Wye and hiring bikes in the Forest of Dean. Such a beautiful area, would definitely recommend!

Chris was the perfect host, welcoming but also left us to have a relaxing weekend. Hot tub was great and so was the friendly animals! The red lion pub and chestnut tree cafe were great highlights. We had a fantastic weekend at Sarah's camping yurt accommodation, Sarah was an absolutely fantastic hosts, allowing us to check in an hour later and let us take our time on departure. The yurt had everything you could want and had the biggest bed I have ever seen and so comfortable. This is without doubt one of the best places we have stayed! We have been in so many types of accommodation from pods, huts, cabins, tepees, tents, caravans, the works but this had all the fine touches that made it a really amazing place to stay. Everything had been thought of and it is all beautifully done so you don’t have to worry just pack your bags and a towel and you’re good to go. The setting is stunning with the surrounding fields and hills. There is plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy the tranquility, even sun loungers for the nice weather. Inside the hut, there is plenty of space to sit, eat and enjoy the comforts of a warm bed (the heated blanket is a brilliant idea and definitely needed for the colder evenings). There is a tv and sockets provided but we loved the added touch of board games and books so we could completely switch off from the world. The kitchen is fully equipped with kettle, toaster, stove, microwave and all the utensils and the bathroom was everything you need. The owners are lovely and extremely welcoming, showing us around it all and ensuring we had everything we needed. Handy tip take some fire wood or coal as it does get chilly however we did get by with just the heated blanket and just a note it’s a bit of a hill to get in but perfectly manageable even in a small car. If you’re thinking of booking definitely do you won’t be disappointed!

Weekend Trip to Greenoak Hideout

We had a lovely pre-Christmas stay and would highly recommend! The yurt was beautiful inside, spotless and had all the essentials. The beds were super comfy and the electric blanket helped keep us warm in the night. Mini fridge, small dining area and plenty of blankets for the colder nights. The bathroom facilities were also spotless and we all had fantastic hot showers which were very much appreciated. Kids loved seeing the donkeys in the mornings and there were plenty of outdoor toys for them to play with. We travelled into York both days which was about a 35 minute drive. Nearby towns had plenty of takeaways etc. Would 100% visit again!

Weekend Trip to Sunbank Accommodation, Llangollen

Sunbank yurt We had a lovely time, Sarah provided coal and wood and once the fire got going it was warm & cozy inside. Electric blanket, hot water bottles & blankets provided so, we didn’t feel cold at all. The bathroom is very simple, the loo is a porta potti. It was clean though! Easy to contact the host & lots of information given in the welcome document. The kitchen is outside, fridge available & there is everything you may need. Overall we had a lovely trip away. The only thing we would mention is that we wish there was some sort of lighting directly outside the yurt as there are some steps to get to the kitchen / bathroom & you couldn’t see if you sat outside at night time, we needed to keep a torch on.
