Fancy some secluded downtime exploring rural coastal Suffolk? The tree-shaded pitches at Hill Farm are in a peaceful setting near the market towns of Saxmundham and Halesworth, and handily accessible from the A12, as well as to the coast and pretty villages, historical hamlets, and popular seaside towns, such as Southwold and Aldeburgh.
This is a site that welcomes families and groups of friends, and it's dog-friendly too (there’s a 4-acre woodland to the north of the site that's great for dog walking). The site has good TV reception for relaxing indoors on damp or chilly days.
The popular village of Westleton (10 minutes’ drive) has a village store, a farm shop, a garage and 2 pubs; and if you fancy a change from cooking, there is also a nice pub and a tearoom, in the Darsham village area (only 5 minutes drive or a 30 minute walk away through some lovely fields).
Back on site, there are a toilet cabins with hot running water, plus other facilities including 4 showers, a portaloo, and a washing machine, grey waste and chemical toilet disposal and recycling points. Wi-fi is nearly all over the site too.
The shared facilities at the top of the site also has a fridge and a washing up area, with a warm water tap, a nearby kettle and a plug socket for charging mobiles. Picnic tables, PIR lighting and Starlink wifi is also provided.
Please not that dogs must be kept on a lead at all times, and yes campfires are allowed, as long as the fire pit is raised off the ground and the fire is supervised at all times, with a bucket of water at hand too. Thank you for booking!

Great 2 nights camping at Goldcrest. Took my reactive dog for the first time and it was perfect! We were lucky to be the only ones there camping during our stay so no triggers for the dog! Greeted by staff, who were lovely. We all had the best time and will definitely return

As soon as I made the booking I received a message from jaik with all the details I would need and extra directions. Jaik was very attentive from the get go. originally, from rookie error, I had booked a hard standing pitch for a caravan but I had a tent, Jaik was on the case within minutes and instantly sorted us out. Nothing was too much for him, showers, toilets, wifi and electricity on site.
Site was quiet and as per request we were placed in a remote area which was lovely with 2 kids.

2 nights at Goldcrest - Breakaway Camping
We really enjoyed our long weekend at Robin's Nest. The birds were singing and the sun didn't stop shining. Everything in the caravan was clean and ready for us. Beds all made up. So quiet in the evening.
Lovely wooded area out of the sun's heat and a seating area in the shade near a wildlife pond, mayflies, dragonflies butterflys. Just beautiful and relaxing. Booking again very soon. We love it.

Great well appointed campsite. Clean showers and toilets plenty of firepit cookers for outdoor cooking. Limited number of well spaced pitches means it will never feel crowded. Pitches also came with a picnic bench which is always useful. Would happily return as the area is beautiful.

Absolutely loved this place. Really quiet, really chill, exactly what it says on the tin.
Sonia and everyone on site were really welcoming and helpful. We travelled with my wife, 2 children (under 3) and 2 dogs and we had a great stay.
It is just you, nature and your imagination. Facilities are basic and essential and thats all we needed. Location was great, 10 minutes drive from the beach, dog walks from outside the site.
We are looking at hiring the whole place next year and bringing the family. Thanks to everyone for. a great stay.

Genuinely a perfect campsite. A calm, peaceful setting surrounded by beautiful horses—I enjoyed every single moment of my stay. The seaside beach is also within easy reach, making it a great location.
The hosts are incredibly kind, welcoming, and always happy to help. The toilet and shower facilities are spotless, with a standard of cleanliness you’d expect from a five-star hotel.
One of the best surprises was the honesty shop, stocked with cold beer, drinks, and snacks—such a thoughtful touch.
I highly recommend this campsite. If you’re looking for a peaceful, friendly, and exceptionally well-maintained place to stay, you won’t regret choosing it.

Loved our stay, it was such a quiet & peaceful site. We had so much space at pitch 3, yet felt like we had some privacy as we were tucked away in the corner. The facilities were great, lots of toilets and a hot shower. So close to the beach, stunning walks and country pubs. Jaik was very friendly and accommodating. (Moved us from pitch 11 to pitch 3 to suit our needs better)

A really sweet little campsite with two fields of level ground to choose from. We happened to be there when only two other pitches were occupied so there was masses of space for us. There were three showers and three toilets and two washing up sinks, all were always spotless and checked regularly. It was a great touch to have use of a fridge freezer and microwave and there was a well stocked honesty shop. Rubbish and recycling was easy to separate and the bins were emptied daily. The large covered area was cosy and thoughtfully supplied with rugs for the evening and a cute book shed book exchange was filled with recent titles in great condition. We would have stayed longer if we’d known how good this site was!

Wonderfull break in Robins nest. Lovely garden with table and chairs.
Ramp and steps to doors. Lovely lounge kitchen and dining room area. Everything that’s needed to cook everything. All lovely clean fresh linen. There is a lovely walk in the forest. A barn with lots of extras. Another with everything campers would need, microwave fridge, just too much to mention. Go and stay , you won’t regret it.!

We had a fantastic stay at Cosy Camping. The pod was immaculately clean and super cosy. It felt luxurious having our own toilet and shower in the pod, the kitchen was well equipped and it was just what we were looking for in an autumn glamping trip. The site itself was great with loads of space to run around and play. We hope to return!

We had a lovely stay! This is a great campsite with lots of lovely places to park up. Some more secluded than others which was great for us. Good facilities and lots of extras like picnic benches, areas for washing up, children’s toys to name a few.
