Outside, enjoy the breath-taking rural views from the raised, balconied terrace and submerge with the sounds of a variety of wild birds and squirrels. As night falls, lit the fairy lights and enjoy starry evenings. When it's time for bed, relax in a cosy bedroom suite with-changeable moody lights or watch your favourite movies in your cosy comfort. The land has been farmed by my father and grandfather for the last 60 years going back to a time of horse drawn ploughs and open top tractors. The stable was built 25 years ago for a horse called Whisper and over the years it was left to deteriorate. I have been gradually restoring the building since 2019 and decided it would be ideal as a luxury tiny home. I have put my heart and soul into build a unique, comfortable and private space for people seeking an escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. On the doorstep are some fantastic walks and rides through the woods. They were one of the original re-release sites for Red Kites in the UK and the breeding programme has been incredibly successful. It's a hidden gem, off the beaten track and a great place to reconnect with nature and the countryside. We can give you a map of the many trails through the woodland and other places of interest. We would advise bringing a pair of wellies or sturdy walking boots. A short car journey away you will find Deene House & Park (3 miles), Kirby Hall (4 miles), Rockingham Castle (4 miles), Boughton House (5 miles), Lyveden New Bield (6 miles) and the pretty and historic market town of Oundle (7 miles), A little further afield there is the beautiful town of Stamford and magnificent Burghley House (19 miles).

Weekend Trip to Serenity Lakes

The shepherd hut was clean and very comfortable. The location was peaceful and we had some amazing sunsets and rises. The wood fired hot tub was great as was the wood fire BBQ which was super easy to use and made the food taste great. We had a fantastic 2 nights and can’t wait to go back.

A spotless shepherds hut, welcoming with some delicious treats. A lovely place to stay with great views after climbing the windmill, freshly baked bread on the premises and friendly staff. Clean showers and bathrooms. Farm animals such as chickens, donkey and a horse in the field and the owl calling at night.

Loved our little glamping adventure to Serenity Lakes! The huts have everything you need, from cutlery to microwave and towels and even UNO playing cards. Everything is really well signposted aned explained in the welcome brochure in the hut. Absolute highlights wad obviously the wood-fired hot tub 💞 but also the beautiful sunsets on the lake!

Weekend Trip to The Grove Glamping

It was our first time glamping and we loved it! The yurts were lovely - comfortable and cosy, plenty of space for a family of 4. It was quite cold over the weekend but we were toasty with the log burner on. The pool was an added bonus and the restaurants onsite were excellent. We ate dinner at the the Pizza/Tapas tipi restaurant ‘Sundown’ which was fantastic, plus a great breakfast in the hotel restaurant. This was all the convenience of hotel facilities with the outdoors of the glamping site. We also had a mix up with the booking dates through Hipcamp and Ruth the host was great, called straight away to sort out and saved us some money too. We’ll be back!

Weekend Trip to Stamford Meadows Glamping

I am happy to report having a wonderful experience despite being caught in a storm. Initially I had considered cancelling my booking in the face of weather warnings yet I was so pleased to have persisted. The yurt, hot tub and other amenities were beautifully prepared and felt safe and secure. While the location was just what I was seeking. The experience was to provide an occasion for my partners birthday and this was well received. My thanks to Amelia for thoughtfully creating a lovely, charming and relaxing space to be enjoyed.
