LOVED this stay. If your little one has sensitive ears you may need ear plugs/defenders as the aircrafts are rather loud. But over all, I loved this trip. Maybe need to take your own headlamp/torch as bathroom lamps were temperamental. Staff were amazing, everything well equipped. Would definitely recommend.

Plenty of space where you’re pretty much left to your own devices. Portaloo in close proximity which was immaculate. You can pick your own pitch either in the wood, the field or next to the lake. We absolutely loved it. A great place to sit round the fire pit, listen to music, sink a beer and reminisce the good times. I found it the perfect place to decompress and forget the outside world! Took paddle boards and a kayak for a day down at Paper Mill Lock and it was perfect. Well worth a visit. £5 for all day parking, tea room and ice cream stall. The place was buzzing!! Tim’s land was the perfect base camp. Bravo Tim!!

Love Daisy Mays. The staff are polite and helpful. The vibe is relaxed and the site is generally clean and well maintained.
The only thing that could do with attention are the toilets. They are basic (which is ok, no-one is expecting luxury) but they could do with being checked by staff more regularly. The bins were always full and the locks on the doors were a nightmare.

Awesome to be able to forage your own wood and have a fire pretty much anywhere you like. Tim was very friendly and laid back. A few decent options to pitchup in a field or woods. Heads up no wild swimming there any more as stream has silted up but is still a natural spring there though and some incredbile old oak trees. Tim recommend the River Stour as a paddleboarding spot which was great and 30mins ish drive away. Subbury, henny or Bures all good for getting on the river if you that way inclined

My family had a great time camping at daisy May's farm, this was our first visit and our first time camping. We loved that we could pitch up where we wanted and the fact there was proper toilets and a shower.
the staff were all so lovely, they really engaged with the children particularly the young girl with the horses who kept them occupied for hours and hours. I saw another young man help a family setting up their tent he seemed to have such a great attitude and all staff answered any questions we had about animals or activities.
My family all loved spending time with the animals the play area was also a big hit.
I can not recommend this place enough and we will be returning in the summer holidays!

We really enjoyed our stay at Four Winds - the pitch was level, good sized and clean. Showers and toilets were well maintained. Great access to the river and the little shop onsite provides snacks/drinks. Pizza on Friday night was a hit!

We stayed here for 2 nights over the bank holiday weekend with our 3 children and 2 labradors.
We used our inflatable kayak on the river as many families did, I would just highlight that the river to the left of the campsite can get a little fast in the wind and can be difficult to navigate back to site. We walked into March and had lunch at The Acre which was good. Walk to March took about 45 mins, slow walking, however, to walk by the river all the way you need to cross over a bridge on a fast road- there is a footpath though.
The site itself is well kept and the wardens are lovely. Gutted we didn't arrive on the Friday for Pizza night! The pitches are very spacious and there is plenty of room for the kids to play games and stretch their legs. People have a good time, however, remain respectful of the other campers.

Such a lovely site. Very tranquil. We biked along the river into town which takes around 15 minutes. The facilities are clean and the kiosk/shop is a real bonus. The private launch straight onto the river was amazing for paddleboarding. We can't wait to come back.

It was great. A bit run down but the animals were happy and cared for.
Very friendly staff and the kids loved the place. We camped in our motorhome so were self contained. I wouldn't have liked to have to use the shower. Bring plenty of changes of clothes if your children like playing in water like our grandchildren did. They had lots of fun playing in the stream.
