This quiet and secluded site is ideal for a peaceful getaway in the Norfolk countryside, set on four and a half acres of flat and level land with spacious pitches. The site is just a 25 minute drive from Sandringham Estate, as well as the Wash, an outstanding bay known for its wetland nature reserve. There are 35 non electric grass pitches available, suitable for caravans, tents and trailer tents. Two dogs are also allowed per pitch (although they must remain on leads). The sunsets are spectacular here, and on a clear night, the stars are an astronomer's dream. Plus, the facilities are quirky and clean, with spiders evicted daily. We really enjoyed our stay! Lovely campsite, we had the woodlands all to ourselves and enjoyed exploring the local footpaths and seeing the animals on the farm. Our dog loved it! The host Jon was very helpful and insightful with the local area. Will definitely be returning in the future!

We had a fantastic stay at Cosy Camping. The pod was immaculately clean and super cosy. It felt luxurious having our own toilet and shower in the pod, the kitchen was well equipped and it was just what we were looking for in an autumn glamping trip. The site itself was great with loads of space to run around and play. We hope to return!

We loved the setting, the camping field is surrounded by trees. We heard owls hooting at night. There is a small herd of fab Highland Cattle, a piggy wig and two cute goats. Donna & Allen are very hospitable and the farm has been in Allen's family since the early 1800's. We spent three days there in September...it was quiet and the perfect setting to relax and reset.

Spent a wonderful time there. It's really secluded. I had the whole woods alone. The host is very friendly and helpful. I only missed my family because the place is well equipped for a family. Everything is there what you need to have a comfortable superb time in the nature. The host even provided a saw to be able to use the fallen branches for campfire. I will definitely go back, next time probably with my family. I highly recommend this campsite!

The campsite was lovely, huge with nice compost loos and you could camp anywhere. Fires were welcomed and the hot showers were great too. However, the site wasn’t very flat, so you had to pick a good spot. It also seems like the site is only weekends which is a lot of effort to get setup for only two nights! If we could camp for longer we’d definitely be back as we loved it!

We camped in a lovely field, with amazing facilities. Clean showers with plentiful hot water, clean toilets and a washing up area. We had an electric pitch right on the edge of the fields with lovely views of the sunset. It wasn't very busy during our stay, so was very peaceful. Close to some great restaurants which were very child-friendly. We paid extra for a campfire each night, but unfortunately, due to the strong winds on our 2nd night, we thought it would be safer to not use this! The campsite manager covered it for us to prevent it getting wet in any case. Lovely place, would definitely stay here again!

This was such a perfect campsite for my friend and I over the bank holiday. We took the train into Hayward’s Heath and grabbed a cab outside the station (cab is about £20 each way). As others have mentioned, it’s not the flattest site but it’s easy enough to find a spot. It was so quiet and peaceful and lovely to have a fire right at our tent. In terms of nearby food, we had a great burger over at the Missing Link brewery, a quick drink at the Cat Inn and a sunny breakfast at the Pericles Cafe (all accessible on foot not that far from the site). We went on a couple big walks walked through loads of local woods and up to the Gravetye Estate and the Weir Wood Reservoir - there’s plenty of public pathways (useful to have the OS app for this) and beautiful countryside. We’ll definitely be back. Didn’t use the showers but the compost toilets were totally fine and not smelly and there was plenty of water points around.

What a wonderful place to escape the rat race! Such friendly and attentive hosts and what a beautiful, peaceful setting. Kids ran free through the woodland - building dens, getting their hands dirty, and making new friends. Yes, the pitches are sloped and compost toilets aren’t for everyone - but we love the back to basics slow living. We also appreciated the “no music” rule and how quiet the campsite got towards 10pm. Despite being the bank holiday weekend, the site was a pleasant level of business - not crowded at all. We will be back!
