Beautiful place to visit! Alice is a wonderful host, and everything was perfect for our stay. The views and the silence was perfect, and the wildlife on view made it all the more special. The Rake hanger walk was lovely and would highly recommend taking a stroll. To top it all off on our last night the Tawny’s and Barns were at full voice and the sky was clear with so many stars. Looking out the window and watching the night sky just before bed a Barn Owl unexpectedly flew over the hut and off into the adjacent field. We will definitely return.

Weekend Trip to Little Fleece at Folly Farm

We had such a lovely stay here and genuinely enjoyed every minute. The outdoor fireplace area was one of our favourite parts, especially sitting by the fire in the evening, and the little table outside made it perfect for eating and relaxing. The hot tub was wonderful too. What really stood out was how much care had gone into everything. We had everything we needed, and the homemade touches made it feel even more special: fresh bread, homemade biscuits, handmade soap and a lovely breakfast provided for us. Everything was clean, comfortable and very well thought out. We were also really impressed by the kindness and care of our host. We felt very looked after from beginning to end. Such a peaceful, beautiful place and definitely somewhere we would happily stay again.

It’s a lovely place with nice tents and things to do for the kids. My little one is 3 years old and she loved the bell tent and the hammocks and badminton. The cafe is lovely too. We live in London and it was very easy to reach with public transport. Maybe bring some ear plugs because you will hear airplanes.

Bell Tent - Mimi, each of our bell tents has a double bed and an option of two single beds. Fresh linens and wood burner make this a luxe stay.

Weekend Trip to Quaint Farm in a National Park

Our weekend getaway at Matt’s farm was nothing less than perfect. The surroundings are private, beautiful and peaceful and the hut itself is lovely - very tastefully decorated and comfortable. We were really impressed by the attention to detail, and the special extra touches such as marshmallows for the fire were really appreciated! There is a lovely pub and farm shop just 20 min walk away, and Matt suggested a walk around the forest and nearby monastery which was lovely. We were sad to leave and would absolutely come back! The sheep at the bottom of the garden were the highlight - they were so sweet and loved being scratched! Thank you Matt for a wonderful stay!

Beautiful setting. The tents were set up inside so comfortably, shower and toilet block clean and beautifully rustic with gorgeous smelling soap and shampoo etc. Added bonus of having the firepit available with added safety precautions with current dry conditions. Great onsite cafe. So close to great walks and pubs too. Would very much recommend to friends.

Claire’s land is very beautiful and peaceful. Our tent was in a little clearing in the wood which gave us privacy and an outlook of mature trees. The Bedouin tent was spacious, well equipped and very comfortable. Claire was very helpful and approachable. We immediately felt welcome and well looked after. This site is in a beautiful part of Berkshire with lots of activities for everyone. I wholeheartedly recommend this site.

A fantastic place we never knew was there, just down the road from us. We wanted a couple of days away but didn’t want to travel far so this was ideal and close to the stables we were going to to ride. We felt a million miles away. Lovely glamping pod in beautiful woodland surroundings. The pod has everything you need and is very comfortable to stay in. Matt is a great host who is there if you need anything but doesn't intrude on your peace and tranquility unless required. Lovely village nearby, the Rising Sun pub is approx 15 minute walk away serving great food etc if you want a night off cooking. My wife and I would definitely recommend this retreat. Thanks Matt for everything we hope stay again soon

Fantastic. We had the best weekend here. Claire provides everything you could need and more which makes the entire experience so much easier, especially with kids. Bathrooms and tents were really clean, all facilities in great shape. Grounds are beautiful with plenty of big old trees and space to explore. Claire was super kind and helpful and even let our kids hold her ducklings which was a real highlight for them. Would absolutely recommend and hope to return!
