We had a great time lovely spot in the woodlands we had a 6 person tent 2 adults 3 kids we didnt think was gnna fit but was perfect we got to feed to animals every night which the kids loved and theres a lovely walking trail which leads to a beautiful pub right nxt to train tracks which had steam trains going by really nice place thanks for having us

Great place for back to basic camping. We had a great time and the kids loved running around the field and picking the sunflowers next door. Toilets provided but no drinking water which is fine as we brought our own anyway. Only a few other campers there so plenty of space, booked 2 pitches as there was a few of us and we could easily park up close to each other. 12 o’clock check out is great as it gave us time to fry up some breakfast before leaving. Would recommend to anyone who love the open space and basic camping. Hosts were easy to contact and very helpful, gave clear instructions to find the field and didn’t have to bother them for anything.

What a fantastic campsite! Each pitch has its own toilet, hot shower, running hot water (with washing up bowl and washing up liquid included) and picnic table with canopy. The facilities are fantastic, and the whole site feels spacious and natural. No long walks to the toilet in the middle of the night or sharing a shower block, and you also get the peace of a big open space and listening to the birds. They also have a small honesty shop with wifi and local produce . 10/10 would definitely visit again.

Great price and the location is perfect for The Roaches. Wasn't a fan of pitching up wherever you want but that's a personal thing. Pizza van is a great idea and much needed after a long day. Everyone respected the 10pm quiet time. Could have done with knowing about the cost to use the showers but that might be the HiCamp app rather than the host.

We stayed at The Hollies for a weekend in mid July and it was a lovely and peaceful campsite. There was plenty of space so that even when it was busy you didn't feel on top of other groups. The site team came round each evening to sell firepits (to rent) and logs which was wonderful and they were on hand to answer any questions! The toilet and shower facilities were great (never had to queue), and paying £1 for the shower was so worth it for the temp and pressure you got! The pizza van on Saturday night was an added bonus, you can't beat woodfired pizza around a campfire. Would definitely recommend and would also return!

4 nights at Camping at The Hollies

Showers and toilet were immaculate as usual( midweek stay , so had field one virtually to myself all week. Small visiting D of E group were transported away to watch England lose in the World Cup at night , and were gone by 07:30 next morning, so didn’t really see them. Hottest week of the year, so my new 3x3 tarp shelter came nicely to the rescue, as it was far too hot in the tents by day. Great week, will be back after the holidays.
