A very warm welcome to our guests at Little Eden, a restful and relaxing, riverside campsite for tents and campervans with grass pitches. We’re in a great spot if you love fishing, kayaking, gorge walking, cycling, seasides, fossil hunting, wild swimming, fell running, bird watching, archaeology or even Viking history!
We are 9 miles from the mystical Glastonbury Abbey and Tor and directly on a Sustrans 33 cycle path route. The River Brue runs alongside the campsite with damsel flies fluttering by and kingfishers darting back and forth. We are on the Somerset levels so the sunsets are amazing as well as night time stargazing. We have a private, wooden jetty where you can launch your own paddle board. It’s a perfect get away for campers and nature lovers. Bring your own raised BBQs and logs or buy firewood on site. A family run campsite around 30 miles south of Bristol on the banks of the River Brue, it has a relaxed vibe and we try to keep things simple and straight forward. It’s ideal for doing some day trips nearby, then lighting the BBQ and playing Frisbee (games box you are most welcome to use). Shower and toilet, drinking water, washing-up sink in garden kitchenette.
Our big sister site is just 4 miles away, and the café bar at 'Wall Eden Farm' serves fantastic coffee, cake, and family-made Somerset cider. If looking for classic countryside pub meal The Duck at Burtle and The Bird at Westhay are local favourites, be sure to book! Burnham on Sea close by has great fish and chips, a sandy beach, a pier and promenade if you like salty fingers and sandy toes.

We are a family run farm situated in the beautiful Frome valley. The farm has a range of interests from the traditional Jersey milking cows to a community of workshops used by local craftsmen. The cafe serves cream teas from Easter to the end of September and pizzas are sold in evenings during the summer months.
Ours is a small family run camp site with the River Frome on one side, next to the medieval buildings of Stowford Farm. The river is suitable for fishing, boating, swimming and paddling. Historic Bradford-on-Avon is only a 5 minute drive and the City of Bath 15 minutes. For those who enjoy more rural pleasures, 200 metres from the campsite Farleigh Hungerford boasts the only river swimming club in the country, and you can become an instant member for a very small fee.

Our Yurt is set up in the trees giving you peaceful seclusion and a clear view across the sea to Wales and the mountains of the Brecon Beacons. The Yurt is big and sleeps up to four very comfortably. It has its own stove and outside is a washroom just for you with hot shower , toilet and sinks. Your own meadow allows you to just relax and be.
Up on the campfield you can bring your own tent or hire a Belle tent from us with all the fittings to camp contentedly. Our new Wash House has hot showers, flushing toilets and basins. You can light a fire and cook up a BBQ or maybe just watch the world go by.
A huge range of activities are possible or you can lie in the hammock with a good book. We have very friendly dogs and rescue chickens who may come and visit. Wild deer wander past in the early morning mist and the odd buzzard picks an argument with a bunch of crows but nothing much else should disturb you.
We moved here after an 18 month search 8 years ago. It was close to everything we wanted and we've spent some time getting a bit closer.

The woodland here at Little Harford is a tranquil place for people wanting to find peace and quiet in a back to nature experience. A small river meanders through the bottom of the lower woodland which can occasionally come up to the top of the bank with lots of rain. A winding path leads down through the woodland to where the land levels out at the water meadow area of the woodland. A family of buzzards live in the valley and you can often hear owls, pheasants and wild birds. A certain degree of fitness is needed as there is no vehicle access and wheelbarrows are available to help move your gear. There is parking at the entrance to the lower woodland on hard standing. A compost toilet is available for all No.2’s and mindful wild peeing is encouraged. Tap water is available from an outside tap at the property for drinking water. There is a washing up area (eco products provided) and a solar-powered gas fired shower. Campfires are allowed and seasoned wood can be purchased at a small extra cost. Nearest village of Tedburn St Mary with a local pub and the village shop is 1 ½ miles away. The nearest town of Crediton is 3 miles away with plenty of supermarkets, cafes, pubs and restaurants. Dartmoor is close by with Fingle Bridge just a 20 minute drive. We only offer a very limited number of camping spots at any time to preserve the tranquility for everyone. Emmetts on Exmoor is part of the highest farm on the moor, up at an altitude of 1250 feet with gorgeous views out over the surrounding scenery of the national park. You won't find a better place for spotting wildlife right from your tent! Red deer herds regularly frequent the moor which is opposite your pitch. Other wildlife in the area include cuckoos, woodpeckers, golden plovers, foxes and much more!
This is a place that’s big on space but small on guest numbers (just four pitches which are not visible from one another), so there’s always plenty of space around to soak up the rural atmosphere, spot wildlife and play games. The site is unmanned so make sure you have all the info you need before setting off and it’s worth noting that Exmoor National Park was designated Europe’s first Dark Sky Reserve back in 2011, so you should hopefully be in for spectacular displays of stars by night too.
Unsurprisingly, this is a great area for walks and mountain bike rides; other activities in the area include things like fishing, sailing and pony trekking. If you’ve still got any energy left after that little lot, the farm’s all-weather tennis court is available to hire for a game or two.
There is a proper shower and loo available next to the car parking area and all pitches are approximately a 500 metre walk away from this area through woodland and across pasture. Remember the site is off-grid
so it’s a good idea to remember to bring along a torch. Guests are welcome to bring along a barbecue or hire a firepit and purchase wood onsite. Simonsbath (5 minutes) has a pub and a tearoom and Exford and Withypool (both within 15 minutes) have good village shops for picking up any other supplies you might need. The Poltimore Arms and The Exmoor Forest Inn are two very local pubs that are well worth a visit.

Other wildlife in the area include cuckoos, woodpeckers, golden plovers, foxes and much more!
This is a place that’s big on space but small on guest numbers (just four pitches which are not visible from one another), so there’s always plenty of space around to soak up the rural atmosphere, spot wildlife and play games. The site is unmanned so make sure you have all the info you need before setting off and it’s worth noting that Exmoor National Park was designated Europe’s first Dark Sky Reserve back in 2011, so you should hopefully be in for spectacular displays of stars by night too.
Unsurprisingly, this is a great area for walks and mountain bike rides; other activities in the area include things like fishing, sailing and pony trekking. If you’ve still got any energy left after that little lot, the farm’s all-weather tennis court is available to hire for a game or two.
There is a proper shower and loo available next to the car parking area and all pitches are approximately a 500 metre walk away from this area through woodland and across pasture. Remember the site is off-grid
so it’s a good idea to remember to bring along a torch. Guests are welcome to bring along a barbecue or hire a firepit and purchase wood onsite. Simonsbath (5 minutes) has a pub and a tearoom and Exford and Withypool (both within 15 minutes) have good village shops for picking up any other supplies you might need. The Poltimore Arms and The Exmoor Forest Inn are two very local pubs that are well worth a visit.

Fantastic hosts who met us on arrival, very helpful friendly and informative. We were lucky enough to have the pick of where we wanted to set up and we chose a lovely spot with a short walk to the facilities. The facilities were well kept, clean and tidy and had everything you would need for a comfortable stay. We were lucky enough to be greeted by the geese when we woke up today, although we weren’t as lucky with the fishing! Our hosts were kind enough to tell us about their farm shop and cafe where activities such as air rifle shooting and axe throwing were available which we will definitely look at doing next time🙂 Our hosts were so accommodating and even cooked us a delicious breakfast when their cafe was usually closed(Mondays) From start to finish a fantastic stay we were well looked after and cannot recommend this place enough. They also have some impressive looking glamping pods and log cabins-some have hot tubs which is something we will be considering for our next visit. Thank you again Andy, Allie and staff x

We had a great stay. We stayed for one night and used it as a base to cycle to Glastonbury and back. We were left to ourselves and trusted by the owner which we loved. Sites like this are the reason we bought out camper van. Thanks for a great stay.

Wow, Little Eden is exactly what it says it is. It has everything for a wonderful camping experience. You are totally emmersed in Nature. You can hear the wild life and birds around you. You can use a fire pit and sit outside under the stars, whilst keeping warm.
The decor is beautiful, the facilities are great.
Showers, toilets, washing machine, fridge and anything else you can think of.
I would definitely recommend Little Eden to everyone.

A very spacious campsite with well-maintained composting facilities. The scenic drive down to the site is beautiful, and the clear night skies make it perfect for stargazing. Martins and owls were active both day and night, adding to the atmosphere. On some alternate nights, music played nearby from around 10 pm to 4 am. While noticeable, it was at a consistent and tolerable volume, and importantly, it wasn’t accompanied by disruptive behaviour.

Little Eden is a dreamy idyllic spot. We had the most amazing, relaxing 4 nights here. We loved the fact that you can pitch wherever you like and just make yourself at home. The kitchen area has everything you need if you forget any of your cooking essentials. There is also a fridge and freezer.
The toilets and showers are perfectly adequate and you can help yourself to logs for your campfire and just pay for them on line.
We had the best sleep we've had for a long while, we loved the peace and quiet.
We can't wait to come back!
