I stayed for 4 nights, having the house close by was comfortable. Friendly and helpful hosts, quiet campingplace. Great location to explore the twin cities and surrounding parks.

Ashley was a wonderful host and the space met our needs (to take a shower and do a load of laundry) perfectly! And the shade gardens around the space were amazing—such a lovely spot. Staying in town was a nice change of pace on our cross country camping trip. I’d definitely return if in the area again.

What a wonderful stay! So peaceful and tranquil. Very nice hosts, very fun to chat with. I’d visit here often if I lived in the Hastings area!

Great location. Within a short drive, ride it even walk to downtown.
Basic shower and bathroom available and even a sauna (for colder weather).
Not somewhere you’d hang out aside from sleeping but why would you? So many great places nearby.
Notes: bring a 50 ft power cord if you want dedicated power to your tent.
Read the guidance provided. Ashley provided great detail.
Ashley was responsive throughout the process!! Thank you!

Once again my.stay with Ashley and Adam was very enjoyable . I backed up to the garden with my cargo conversation camper trailer and when I was there I had complete privacy and relaxation .
I can't say enough how much I appreciate the convenience and calm yet close.to everything Ashley and Adams spot provide .
I will be back .

Ashley and Adam were very nice host .
Ashley showed me around when I got there and then I had total privacy.
The shower and bathroom were clean , I never needed the laundry or Sauna.
The pond was very peaceful , just sitting out and listening to it at night gave you the feeling of being further out in nature even though you are in town . Infact the entire setup.goves you a nice private feeling , yet you will have all the convenience of being close to everything including downtown Hastings .
I will definitely be staying here again .

Ashley was very welcoming, and her space was very accommodating for any camping style! I set up a 9 person tent in their yard, and I was happy to feel a sense of privacy from the other houses around. Using the bathroom, shower and sauna was hassle free, and everything was well maintained.
Ashley also has some great recommendations for food near the twin cities and hiking in the Hastings Area.
I would definitely stay again!

Ashley was very attentive and responded to message quickly. She asked if I could arrive a little early because she had an engagement the night of my arrival so I felt a little pressure to get their earlier than I wanted.
Ashley greeted me and gave me a tour of the space. She suggested some local places to check out that within walking distance.
I would recommend this place. Don’t forget to write in the guest book.

The outdoor space provided is very beautiful and the neighborhood is quiet. The inside spaces also very nice and clean. Ashley even left us a map of the local area. We’d definitely be happy to stay there again.

We have a friend who grew up in Hastings and wanted to show us the town.
We went on to Hipcamp and saw an actual site in the middle
of the town , Driveway Camping !! The location is super easy to get to .
The site is on a corner lot with a beautiful yard with a very natural ambiance , many gardens and nice features.
We have a 21 foot camper and had adequate room in the driveway. When we arrived we were greeted by Adam , Ashley’s husband.
Adam was very accommodating and showed us the amenities.
Access to the bathroom, shower, and laundry are easy with a separate entrance.
The location is very close to downtown.. walking distance .
Many restaurants , shops , and bars .
Ashley did a super job of listing many of the local attractions.
The only downfall was the temperatures were in the high 90’s.
On the Hipcamp site they stated that they had 30 amp electric, which wasn’t the case , therefore we had no air conditioning.
Adam did his best to rectify the situation but wasn’t able to fix it. If you are planning on coming with a camper , find out if they have updated the electrical.
The tent area is really nice , So if that’s an option I would go with that at this point..
Overall we give this site a 9 , only because of the power hookup!! Ashley and Adam are the best and will do whatever you need to make you happy !!

I loved it here!! Enjoyed the sauna, being near the town, access to bathroom and shower, and the quiet nights. Thanks so much for letting me park my car back in the garden for additional privacy - be well! <3
