Such a fun little campground. There are two spots, but we had two families that rented both locations and comfortably fit on the one by the water. Would definitely recommend this site!

For me, this was heaven: country, farm animals, and the Chesapeake Bay. I had my morning coffee along the creek and then got out on the water in a kayak.

Highly recommend this campsite on Jenni's property! The property is beautiful and a great mix of forest and view of the water. It feels very remote, but a few restaurants, a liquor store, gas station, etc. are just a few mins away. Despite it being pretty hot on Memorial Day Weekend, the campsite is well shaded and had a nice breeze. Being able to use the kayaks on site was the highlight of the trip and Jenni gave us a couple of recommendations on beaches to stop at. Jenni and her husband were very friendly and communicative!
Note: If you plan to do any kayaking, make sure you add on the life jackets and paddles before you check out and finish booking. It is difficult to add this on later.

We had a great time tent camping at Jenni’s farm. It was quite secluded back by the water. Be careful if it just rained though- it got very muddy for us. Luckily we have a 4WD vehicle so it was no issue. The porta potty on site was very clean and looked like it had just been emptied. Water from the Spigot was nice and cold and refreshing! Overall great spot and hosts were very responsive to questions.

This was our second time to their gorgeous property and we loved it even more. Everything is well cared for and it feels private and restful. Kind and responsive hosts. Someone is going to be enjoying a lot of berries when they come into season. We also saw bald eagles! We adored the free range poultry greeters and the adorable farm animals too. Great times and hope to return soon!

It was a perfect getaway and the hosts couldn't have been more helpful. Just 45 minutes from the DC area, it was spectacular to have a private waterfront space to ourselves. You couldn't even see or hear the other site from ours. We didn't have time to kayak, but will definitely put ours in right at the camp site next time. The hosts provided a big cooler of potable water and even helped out when our car broke down! We can't wait for our next visit!

Great site. Joe even prepared a bunch of wood and kindlings next to the fire site. PLUS we bought some great home made pecan caramel cake and chocolate brownie and home made popcorn when leaving.. yummmm

It was a great little place to stay, and a great host was very friendly and welcoming. I would definitely recommend going if you want a nice, quiet little getaway close to DC.

Our trip at site 2 was great :) I was nervous at first because I had never gone camping before. But the hosts were so helpful and our neighbors at site 1 were also helpful and kind. We got to see lots of chickens and turkeys, the hammock we rented was clean and spacious, we also got to be close enough to the water to enjoy the sounds of ducks. It was great, I definitely recommend this to a newbie or an experienced camper.

Great spot near the water. Can see some neighbor's houses around, but it still feels and sounds like a cozy campsite in middle of the woods. Host was very helpful, friendly, and responsive. We had a great time!

Beautiful spot right next to the water at site 2! Great space with a hammock to relax in. Even though there is a neighborhood across the water, I felt secluded and secure. So much nature around to watch and woods to hike through. Jenni and John were very accommodating and kind. Fun to see and hear the animals on the farm. Would love to go back when leaves return to the trees and the weather is warm enough to enjoy the water!

Camping on Jenni's land was amazing! We went on a warm winter weekend so can't wait to come back when it's warmer to kayak and wade around a bit. The two sites are situated a bit away from the house, as well as away from each other, so it feels very private. There are some houses right across the creek, but it was still quiet at night. Jenni was friendly, flexible, and responsive. The turkeys were funny to talk to. We paid a bit extra for firewood and eggs, much appreciated.

Spent the night in site 2 with my two young kids. Great view of the water in a nice secluded wooded area. We went to visit all the animals on the way out and the kids loved it. This is a really nice campsite and we will definitely come back again. Julie and her husband are super friendly and great hosts.

Beautiful site in the woods, one of which is RIGHT ON Chesapeake Bay! Nice family. Don't be concerned by the story of chickens, they stay in the yard by the house, fun to watch on the way in. Heard a deer. Very enjoyable stay!

Friends and dogs had a great stay at site #2. The campsite was as described, right along the water. Good room for two tents and two cars. Hosts were very welcoming and easy to communicate with. Portapotty was just out of sight, easy walking distance and clean. Mosquitoes were as expected for being by the water in early fall (as long as you come prepared, shouldn't be an issue). There is a large dead tree that you should avoid pitching a tent under for fear of falling branches. Site has a good amount of space regardless. Overall, had a great stay and would love to come again.

What a lovely home, farm, produce stand, and place to camp and rest for the night. The hosts were very helpful, let their birds run free range on the grounds, and had an amazing place to buy vegetables and fresh baked treats and focaccia on the weekends (home-made by the host!) at the end of their street. Would highly recommend it as a perfect spot to getaway and get back to the land!

We enjoyed our stay so much! It was a perfect spot right along the water. We were able to do some crabbing right from the campsite. Hope to return and stay longer next time.
