PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU READ ALL ABOUT OUR RULES AND SAFETY PLEASE DOWNLOAD THE HIP CAMP APP AND TURN ON NOTIFICATIONS TO RECEIVE MESSAGES ABOUT YOUR STAY Edgehill Farm Stays is located between Barossa and Clare Valley, 7km out of Riverton, and 1 hour north of Adelaide. We run a sheep and cropping farm which creates beautiful camping grounds at the foot of the hills, just below the Heysen Trail. The campsites are located on the pasture paddocks of the farm with sheep roaming the area, so dogs on leashes at all times, and please pick up after them. With large distances between other campers, each site can cater for large groups, with no close neighbours. The sites are at least 2km away from busy roads, so absolute peace and privacy! There's a beautiful push bike ride from Riverton to Clare Valley and all the wineries are along the way. Plenty of room at the property for kids to ride their push bikes. Fantastic sunsets and sunrises from all sites, and at its best at the SUNSET BAA. Beautiful bird noises, including the kookaburras having a laugh. There's a very very basic "long drop toilet" pit toilet located near the Gumtree paddock and 5 others shared, down close to the camping paddocks, if not wanting to use shared toilets, please bring and supply your own portable toilet. Great Hotels/pubs to dine in at Tarlee and Riverton. Emporium cafe for the best coffee in Riverton Important Information to know before ALL GUESTS/VISITORS MUST BE BOOKED IN BEFORE ENTERING OUR PROPERTY!!! All campers must check in BEFORE 8pm. If you are unable to arrive before 8pm, please make a booking for the following day instead. Generators are allowed on the unpowered sites, please respect other campers with turning them off by 10 pm at the latest. No chainsaws on property. Loud music not permitted, please turn silent by [xxxxxxxx] Pets are allowed, as long as they are on leashes at all times STRICTLY NO MOTORBIKES RIDDEN ON PROPERTY No rally driving. If you have day visitors joining you during your stay, please go to the extras section and add the numbers to the booking, We also operate another Hipcamp called BURRA CREEK CAMPING situated 25km North of Robertstown, ideal for mostly 4WD and off road campers. Milky Way Hut

Camp in our converted silo, with a shelter over your head, but still able to view the starry skies and magical sunrises through the window.  One small double swag can comfortably fit inside the hut, or pitch your tent outside and still enjoy the warmth of sitting inside. Welcome to park your caravan, motor home or camper trailer alongside as well.  There is a grass floor, carpet square by fire, with a luxury leather lounge and a table. This is a basic shelter and campers need to BYO everything else (including cooking equipment, and extra lighting), and leave it as (or better than) they find it.  Pets are welcomed, but please no pets laying on lounge. We've enclosed the silo with a shade cloth, to help protect you from the wind. Enjoy warming up with the pot belly pig fireplace. Your welcome to collect small kindling wood to get your fire started, but you will need to please bring some bigger wood also, that fits in the pot belly, or for outside fires. The hut is a short walk to the shared long drop toilet, mini putt putt golf, lawn bowls and assorted games.  Pets are welcome to stay too, but please ensure you clean up after them.  You'll also have easy access to the Heysen Trail for walkers and Ratttlers Trail for pushbikes!  Any visitors coming onto our property for a day visit, not staying, please go to the extra section when placing booking and add them to your payment.

Shepherds Hut

A restored historical building established in 1850’s .. A lot of history in the Shepherds Hut. Has a convectional heater inside to keep you warm, with a room to boil your billy or slow cook a stew over the day, please remember that it is basic, and not a resort. Beautiful views surrounding the site, sunrises and sunsets are amazing. The hut is situated next to the shearing shed, a short walk to a shared long drop toilet, but it be best to be fully self contained. Caravans will be able to park next to the hut, camper trailers and tents will have a grassed/dirt area close by to also set up, will need to level yourselves. Minimal solar lights are set up inside, you will need to bring your own lighting for extra lights. It has slate/dirt floors, with minimal furniture inside., you will need to bring everything for your comforts, with room for you to put a double swag on the ground it a wet night outside. Basic traffic from other campers on busy weekends. Tracks to walk and explore our property. Easy bicycle dirt road ride into our closest town. Lovely bird noises, and sheep grazing the property. Wood will be able to be purchased from us, please let us know before arrival, or your welcome to bring your own smaller pieces for the heater. The old Homestead close to Shepherds Hut is fully off bounds, as well as their horses PRIVATE PROPERTY. CAUTION ELECTRIC FENCE BY HORSES. Please give them their privacy and especially no loud noise. NO DOGS at this site please No loud music please, silent by [xxxxxxxx]. No motorbikes, guns or rally driving

We had a lovely time staying at Edgehill Farm Stays on the Hills View site. The scenery and experience was beautiful and despite a bit of wind on the hill the host was very kind and showed us to a more sheltered location so we could enjoy our night. Would definitely recommend.

Our Edgehill Farm stay was paradise. From the moment we booked, our hosts welcomed our booking with all the information we needed before arrival- making planning easy. Very responsive and friendly communicators 🥰 On arrival Trish greeted us and took us to our site- The Shepards hut, a little cut out piece of paradise, a cosy fire 🔥, roaming sheep, and green fields as far into the distance as a squinting eye could see. Trish was very helpful with walking and bike riding suggestions (which we diligently followed, and so happy we did!), Pete even came to help us with the bike pump! Our stay was relaxed and quiet.. exactly the escape we hoped for, made so much more by our hosts and the most stunning views of the sunset and stars ✨. Thankyou Edgehill, we will be back

We had a wonderful stay at Trish & Peter's property. The land is peaceful, well maintained, and surrounded by beautiful scenery, making it a perfect place to relax. Trish and Peter were welcoming, friendly, and made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The campsite was clean, quiet, and offered plenty of space and privacy. We really enjoyed our time here and would happily recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing camping experience. We'd definitely love to come back!

Shepherds Hut
This wasn't our first time here but our first time using the shepperds hut the weather wasn't the best for the first couple of days so this was amazing place to camp in we ourselves had a caravan parked up next to it as our son and his wife stayed in the hut originally they were staying in there tent. So it was very much appreciated the fire place was amazing, comfortable lounge, and room to set up there queen size bed.Trish and Pete you both are wonderful Thankyou again for making our stay so enjoyable. We could not recommend this camp highly enough! The hosts were very responsive in the booking process and directions to the site very clear. Trish was extremely welcoming on our arrival and Peter kindly delivered firewood to our site. The scenery was stunning and we wouldn’t have known we were staying on someone’s property. We can’t wait to return and will tell our family and friends about this fantastic Hipcamp!

Shepherds Hut
We loved our stay at Edgehill Farm. Our caravan is only small so having use of the Shepherd’s Hut gave us more room to spread out and the log fire was perfect for the chilly nights. The Sunset Baa didn’t disappoint with some glorious sunsets and a view over the valley. Our hosts, Trish & Peter, were very friendly & very accommodating during our stay. We will be back to try out one of their other sites on the Farm. We highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a quiet stay with great views.

Camping at the hut was fantastic, nice to have the option of a fire indoors or out, glorious view of the valley. You are near a road into the property so if you are looking for total seclusion another site on the property may suit better. Trish and Peter are great hosts, would stay at this site again!

Our second stay at Edgehill, and definitely not our last. We stayed in the Shepherd’s Hut and loved it—cosy wood heater, stunning views, plenty of wildlife, and a peaceful atmosphere. The amenities are clean and only a short walk away, and we even had sheep and a few friendly cats wandering near our site. Sunset Baa was especially beautiful. What really makes Edgehill stand out is the hospitality. Trish and Peter are consistently friendly, welcoming, and wonderful to chat with. They were incredibly accommodating when our plans changed, made sure we were safe during our stay, and genuinely went above and beyond to help. The property is fantastic, but the hosts are what make it truly special. Their warmth and care turn a great stay into an exceptional one. We can’t wait to come back.

Edgehill is an amazing, well kept farm with the best drop loos in SA !!! Our go to when camping, all sites are far from others , and yet the collaboration at sunset Bar while the sun setting, is truly beautiful with fellow campers, kids and dogs the most perfect setting, in the most glorious part of the evening! Forgotten how many times we have been here , do your self a favour and visit Edgehill farm 😍😍😍

COZY CORNER
Edgehill is always just so lovely. Stunning views and amazing hosts. Cozy Corner was tucked away and very private - great for one or two couples. Would highly recommend.

Lazy Lane
Stunning property, with amazing views. Trish and Pete are absolutely lovely hosts. 2 nights, over the long weekend with plenty of other campers around, it felt very peaceful and secluded. Highly recommend just over an hour from Adelaide.

Livin on the Ledge
We loved camping at Edgehill Farm Stays Riverton. Trish and Peter are so lovely and welcoming, the sunsets are stunning and the campsites are so big and peaceful. We will defintely visit again.

Great campsite, great hosts, great experience. Such a great place for families! Plenty of space for the kids to explore, clean toilet, and a relaxing atmosphere. We loved our stay & cannot wait to stay again. Cheers to you Peter & Trish! 🥂
