Quaint, Cody, relaxing, and nostalgic. The property was quiet, which we prefer over those super busy places like a KOA. The cabin itself was great: no electricity, all propane, which was a nice change of pace. I plan on building one like it myself on our property. You can hear a little highway noise, but it didn’t bother us any. The Ranch is conveniently located between Missoula, and Coeur D’Alene which makes both an easy day trip if you need something to do. The horses are friendly and will trade a pat on the head for a handful of grass. The lodge had a pool table which our boys enjoyed and, although we didn’t need it, a tv with a plethora of VHS for viewing in case of a rainout. Overall a great experience and we will be back.
