We had a fantastic time at Allie's Blue Heron site! This is a private piece of forested farmland with a beautiful small lake in the center full of flowering lily pads. Allie has created a few tent camping spots and 1-2 RV hookup sites that provide power and water. There is also an adorable outhouse on site if you prefer not to use your RV facilities. My husband and I spent 3 nights there in a small RV with our dog. Since it was private, our dog was able to be off-leash and had a blast exploring the woods, splashing in the lake, and playing with the 4 farm dogs that roam and would come over during the day to visit. The only drawback is that nothing is paved, so I recommend watching the weather ahead of your stay here, as it rained before we arrived and was very muddy. Getting our SUV and RV to the site created a bit of a mess!
