It is a semi-private open space by the water (for tent or small trailer). It does not have running water or access to hot water. There is a shared toilet and a wash station.

We live in a beautiful area nestled in the woods just seconds away from amenities, half a kilometer off Highway 17. It is very private here. We are homesteaders and love our land. We grow our own food, our own herbs and our own chickens. If you're here during the right time, you might see a few chicks running around . In our town we have a small grocery store, a convenience store with gas and we have an LCBO
You can park in the driveway with your RV or on the lawn with your tent. You will have access to electricity and water. You can also use the bathroom. Doors locked at 9pm and locked when we leave for work in the morning. You must provide your own extension cord and water hose There is a beautiful Lake just down the street. Another half a kilometer away for you to go. Kayaking, swimming or just sightseeing. There is also a spot for you to climb the mountain. The marina here in town is absolutely beautiful and they have a lookout for you to climb. I believe it's 132 steps. This is the highlight of our little town.

We’ve created a mix of secluded forest tent clearings and private RV pads, each surrounded by trees for privacy and space. This is primitive, off-grid camping no hookups, no running water, and no electricity just the essentials and the stars overhead. For your comfort, we’ve built a brand-new farm outhouse, kept clean and simple.
Our guests love to spend time at the farm’s private pond, a half-acre oasis tucked at the back of the property. There are multiple hammocks set up around the water, perfect for reading, napping, or watching the dragonflies dance across the surface. On warm days, bring your chair or blanket and relax by the pond’s edge, or wander the orchard trails and forest paths that weave across the land.
In season, you’ll find life on the farm buzzing with energy fruit trees heavy with apples, bees working the blossoms, and cider pressing in the fall. We often have farm-fresh produce, firewood bundles, and local treats available for guests to purchase, so you can enjoy true farm-to-table experiences right on site.
At night, the property comes alive in its own way: clear, dark skies for stargazing, the crackle of campfires in the distance, and the soft rustle of the forest. Whether you’re in a tent, camper, or RV, you’ll find this to be a safe, welcoming, and peaceful base for your getaway.

Life on the farm is never lonely; we share our space with a few friendly barn cats who love to wander the orchard and lounge in the sunshine. They’re curious and social, often coming by to say hello to campers.
We also keep a lively chicken coop on the farm. Expect to hear the roosters crowing at sunrise a true country alarm clock! The hens roam and cluck nearby, adding to the authentic farm atmosphere.

THE PARK is a privately owned, off-grid piece of Northern Ontario with 1,000+ ft of river and lakefront, forest in all directions and thousands of acres of Crown land stretching northward.
It's a space to slow down, to be outside and to feel the magic of this wild land.
· The Main Lodge:
This is where your hosts live. We’re nearby if you need support or would like to enjoy one of our optional experiences - but otherwise we give you plenty of space to settle into the quiet.
The Lodge has access to the lake and dock. Paddle over from the river or let us show you the way on foot!
· Stay at THE PARK:
Overnight stays are currently offered at Cedar Site: a secluded riverfront campsite tucked among the evergreens at the far edge of the property, with trails leading into the surrounding forest just steps away.

The rest of THE PARK is yours to wander and explore. Follow the trails, climb the ridge, find the lookout, swim in the lake or settle around one of the fire pits.
Depending on the season, additional spaces and experiences may be available to book during your stay, including the lakefront sauna, our converted 1960s GMC school bus as a cozy warming space, or a silent guided hike to the ridge lookout with a fire waiting at the top.

Nick was very welcoming to his home. He had an electric outlet we could use for my camper van. He gave us a tour of the house. There were 2 bathrooms, 1 with a shower. Very clean. He told us we could use the kitchen, but we didn’t.
He has a great place to sit outside under some big trees, with chairs, a swing and a picnic table.

We used this camp for a one day stay to finish our journey.
We really like single camps. The quiet space. This location really suited our needs. Our Class B/C is high in the back so we always look for a few inches of slope to make setup easier.
A camper looking for a base camp may need more.
The chickens were barely noticeable, they were kinda lazy sleeping in as the did. Our chicken could learn something about not being an early riser.
