I have been an organic market gardener for 25 years and now am downsizing the farm to welcome visitors to experience the Land, cabins and event space here. I enjoy creating cozy, welcoming spaces that invite you to slow down, breathe deeply, relax, explore outdoors or stay in and recharge. The buildings are not new but they are well cared for. The outside and inside areas are clean and tidy, while also showing their age and good use…just like those of us who live here :D The well water is plentiful, potable and very rich in minerals. It leaves orange staining and a white residue where the water sits (think toilet/shower/sinks). It is cleaned thoroughly. I provide bottles of reverse osmosis water in all cabins for drinking and to use in kettles/coffee makers. Shared full kitchen/washroom with shower available, walking trails (bush trails), screened shared gazebo, hammocks and picnic tables. Now with a pool! (subject to conditions). Separately, the ‘Beaver lodge’ and Camping sites are located down river on 5 acres of mowed grassland next to 10 acres of wetland. Room for multiple mobile campers. ‘Rustic’ sites. Bottled water. No power. Beaver lodge has sleeping (foam mattresses) for 4, camping stove, kettle, frypan, 2 chairs/table). Bring your own everything else. Like camping but MUCH easier and enjoyable! No kitchen/washroom access. Pit toilet. Home to Willow, poplar and Spruce in a thriving ecosystem. Excellent Bird watching, abundant wildlife and access to the Sturgeon River (subject to conditions). We have a little campground setup with a large gravel area that you can park campers in. We have 2 sewer hookups and some power hookups as well 120volt 12 amp. Water on tap too so you can hook it up or fill your tank easily. There’s a covered eating area called the watering hole. A stage with a pull down screen that can be used for movies. A horseshoe pit, full size pool table trampoline and kids play set hockey net. A big dumpster for waste disposal. A large firepit. Also as an added bonus I have an outdoor tactical lasertag business and in our back field we have a course setup and ppl can play lasertag back there it’s very fun. This is more setup for rvs or tent trailers. Tents would work we just would have to lay down something for you. It’s a nice fairly quiet area that’s minutes from the Pembina and north Saskatewan river and 23 minutes to the Brazeau damn. Would make for a perfect group camping spot. Ev charging available too as we do have a Tesla charger.

Had a chance to stay in the Dreamers Geodome and our host Jana & her husband (sorry forgot the name) were fantastic! The dome was so cozy and the sauna was amazing after a long day. We opted to purchase breakfast in the morning from them and it was delicious. We only came for a night but I can’t say enough good things about the experience we had. We even got a tour on a ATV & opportunity to see some ojibwe spirit horses. Truly a hidden gem! 🤩 We will be back this summer or fall. Thank you both so much!

We had a great stay at R & M’s Hipcamp. The property was beautiful, peaceful, and had lots of space to relax and enjoy the outdoors. The campsite felt private and well maintained, making it the perfect place to unwind. What really stood out was the hospitality. R & M were incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive, and M in particular went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and at home during our stay. Their friendliness and genuine care made the experience especially welcoming and memorable. As an added bonus, their cats were very friendly and always a joy to have around the property! Overall, we had an amazing experience and would highly recommend R & M’s Hipcamp to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway. We would happily stay here again.

We had an amazing experience at this on-site RV campsite. The site offered plenty of privacy, allowing us to fully relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. It was incredibly quiet, making it the perfect place to create precious memories and spend quality time together. The campsite had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, and the owners were always quick to respond whenever we had questions or needed assistance. They were exceptionally kind, accommodating, and flexible, which made our experience even more enjoyable. We truly appreciated their hospitality and attention to detail. Loved going on the tour of the property on the atv and learning about the property and the home. The bed was comfy and dome was peaceful. Was under fire ban but they provided us with a propane fire and we were able to roast some smores after our sauna session. Would recommend and would go back.

I truly can’t put into words how lovely Jana’s place was. From the moment we arrived, she welcomed us with open arms, with the wood-fired sauna and hot tub ready for us. She even took us on a UTV tour of her land, sharing stories about the wildlife that passes through. The dome itself was perfect Jana has thought of everything. The bed was incredibly cosy, the décor was beautiful, and snacks and water were waiting for us after a long day. There’s even a little surprise as the morning sun hits the windows just right. Because of the fire ban, Jana sent us lots of dinner ideas. We made our own charcuterie board, which was romantic and perfect. The sauna and tub were amazing. The sauna overlooks the woods through a glass window, and she provides sauna caps and towels. The tub wasn’t piping hot all the way through, but honestly it felt perfect after the sauna. For $25 CAD, Jana brought us a homemade breakfast by UTV the next morning. It was fresh, delicious, and both Jana and her husband were so accommodating with my dairy-free and gluten-free needs. As a city girl, I rarely fully disconnect, but this off-grid space made me want to. With hammocks, battery-powered lights, and even a propane fire during the ban, everything felt so thoughtful. We even woke up to a newborn foal, which felt magical. We did a breath work and sound session as well with Jana. Jana’s space is truly healing, restorative, and unforgettable. Disconnect, relax, and soak it all in under the stars.

We had an amazing camping experience at Creek Edge! The family running the place is incredibly friendly and helpful. One of the best parts was having constant electricity throughout our stay, which made everything so much easier. We especially fell in love with their pets—spending time with their dogs and cats was such a joy! If you’re looking for a welcoming, animal-friendly, and peaceful spot near Spruce Grove, this is it. Highly recommended!

We absolutely loved our stay in the microcabin. We stayed in winter and got the privellege of seeing a beautiful snowy landscape, getting cozy by the fire (inside and outside). Not only was the facillity beautifly maintained with everything we needed to cook amazing meals over the fire, great insulation and activities and books for our leasure. The hosts are absolutely amzing, helping us with any questions and concerns and sharing how they are being sustainable and supporting the local community. The sheep tour was well worth it aswell if you are a fellow animal lover. The property offers a beutiful walking trail that had me and my partner in awe. We will be back to experience the beauty in other seasons!

The added touches to this stay made it a perfect romantic weekend getaway. The old woodfire place that was perfect to cook in, the decorative wall hangings, the added extra coffees and hot chocolates, all the plates and silverware you will need. The outdoor fire pit, the picnic table underneath decorative lights. It was a magical weekend for two adults and a pup. Only a short drive outside of Edmonton and easy to find. ( 1 hour ) Highly recommend and look forward to going back.

Weekend Trip to Experience a Stay at Go Hard Ranch

Arriving on this land, I felt a sense of peace roll through me. My girlfriends and I stayed in the Tipi. It was magical. The grounds are immaculately kept. We were very spoiled with the washroom facilities as well as the outdoor kitchen. The beds were extremely comfortable with soft linen and warm blankets. The host did not miss any details to help us feel comfortable and met all of our amenity needs. The sunrise and sunsets were beautifully held on the horizon. Nature was all around us, including the cows and beautiful majestic white bull. All of the gardens and flower beds held details and surprises. Dragonflies were everywhere! A short distance away, we visited Chip Lake. Here we were able to have a drumming ceremony as well as enjoy some paddle boarding. The water was not conducive to us swimming in it, as it is shallow and appears to have a vast ecosystem. We did travel 30 minutes up the highway to the Pambina river and enjoyed a refreshing cool off. I would highly recommend visiting this site. I have full intentions of gathering my whole tribe of friends for a full weekend next year.
