Designed for couples, solo travelers, and dreamers seeking simplicity, this private retreat offers a chance to disconnect from digital distractions and reconnect with nature. Inspired by homesteading and frontier living, it's the perfect setting for romance, relaxation, creativity, or quiet reflection. Optional sheep visits can be booked in advance to meet the lambs and experience life on the homestead. The Experience Thoughtfully designed for couples or solo guests seeking solitude. Enjoy clean linens, cozy blankets, and the warmth of a wood stove; next-level glamping with a rustic, romantic twist. Dish-Free Stay Dishes are provided, but no washing required. Simply leave them in the sealed bin and we'll take care of the rest. No Power, No Problem Candlelight, lanterns, and a thoughtfully stocked cabin create an authentic pioneer-style experience. Be prepared with extra socks or slippers, as temperatures outside can drop below -45 celsius before windchill, and source of heat is wood stove. The cabin is a small one room space and heats extremely well, however please bring warm footwear and be prepared. Winter camping/glamping is at your own risk.

VERY IMPORTANT: We and our neighbors have livestock; and there is wildlife in the rural country such as coyotes, wolves, bears, cougars and moose. This is rural country. The neighbor's doggos may come say hi! They protect the area from skunks and coyotes and are very friendly, love other dogs and kids. Please do not feed them as they are hard at work keeping our community safe. For safety of your furbabies, livestock and wildlife, leash must be used at all times. We appreciate that you please do not approach, pet or feed the livestock. Thank you!

We absolutely loved our stay in the microcabin. We stayed in winter and got the privellege of seeing a beautiful snowy landscape, getting cozy by the fire (inside and outside). Not only was the facillity beautifly maintained with everything we needed to cook amazing meals over the fire, great insulation and activities and books for our leasure. The hosts are absolutely amzing, helping us with any questions and concerns and sharing how they are being sustainable and supporting the local community. The sheep tour was well worth it aswell if you are a fellow animal lover. The property offers a beutiful walking trail that had me and my partner in awe. We will be back to experience the beauty in other seasons!

The added touches to this stay made it a perfect romantic weekend getaway. The old woodfire place that was perfect to cook in, the decorative wall hangings, the added extra coffees and hot chocolates, all the plates and silverware you will need. The outdoor fire pit, the picnic table underneath decorative lights. It was a magical weekend for two adults and a pup. Only a short drive outside of Edmonton and easy to find. ( 1 hour ) Highly recommend and look forward to going back.

I absolutely loved my stay here. The cabin is so cozy and cute. Dani and Josh were amazing hosts, friendly and accommodating in every way. The view of the stars and the atmosphere was beautiful. They even had a telescope in the cabin and a great selection of books to read. The cabin holds heat very well and is the perfect size for 2 people. Daniel and Josh even recommended the cutest little places around town to check out and it made our trip even better. For my stay i was in an air cast and they went out of their way to make sure all areas were shoveled and salted and put out bags to protect the cast from the wet ground and snow. I honestly can't rate my stay high enough. This is deffinetly one to check out!

The hospitality at Dani and Josh's cabin was fantastic! We added on a breakfast basket and charcuterie board, which were both awesome. The cabin was cozy and relaxing with the wood stove, definitely a great place to get a few days of rest and relaxation. Highly recommend the sheep tour!

My husband and I loved staying in Dani & Josh's cabin. The cabin was stocked full of kitchen ware, we didn't even need to pack utensils as they had it all covered! The wood stove kept us warm (even a little too toasty at times), and we loved the rustic atmosphere. Josh was super informative on the coming-to-be of their property, and we enjoyed hearing about how they've utilized a sustainable mindset when it comes to their farm, animals, and cabin. The sheepies were so friendly, and it was a treat getting to experience their animals up close and personal. We were also greeted by 3 beautiful free roaming neighbor horses, who were not shy to come and say hi, and walk with us back to our camp! The hammock in the yard at night was the cherry on top. As city people, my husband and I have never gotten to experience the rural night sky the way we did cozied up in the hammock. It was a truly unforgettable experience, getting to hear the howl of the coyotes paired with the brilliant star filled sky. Overall, we had a lovely experience in Dani and Josh's cabin, and we can't wait to re-book next season! We both highly recommend staying here if you're in need of some unplugged time away, or for a cozy weekend camping trip!

We loved camping out on dani and joshs land! Very clean area and the cabin really lived up to its pictures! Very romantic atmosphere as soon as those candles are lit! Dani and josh were also the most kind host weve had! We were welcomed to some delicious farm fresh eggs and shortbread! Also the interactive sheep tour was sooooo funn!! The sheep are so cute and they let us hold one of the chickens!! We really felt like we lived out best farmer lifes on that tour! Thank so much for having us!! We definitely will be back!!

We had a great time. Nice and quiet, but we did go into town to the beach and play a game of mini golf. Our daughter loved feeding the sheep through the fence (just grass)! Thanks so much! 😍🐑🏕❤️

We absolutely loved it out at Dani and Josh’s! They were so accommodating and gave us a masterclass in hospitality. They were super easy to communicate with and they made sure we were well taken care of, despite being a larger group. Dani even served us up some warm homemade cookies that my crew still can’t stop talking about. The stargazing in the evening is amazing and the sheep are too dang cute! If you’re thinking about a nice private campsite with all the amenities look no further!

Relax and restore!

We had a non stop busy summer and this quaint cabin was exactly what we needed to get off the grid and relax! Spent several hours in the hammock, had the most incredible fire and watched the meteor shower. Everything we needed was available and our hosts were quick to reply and attentive to make sure we had an amazing time! The bed was so comfy and seba beach farmer’s market was fun to check out. Little piece of Heaven! Great book collection to kick back and contemplate in a lawn chair too!

Dani and Josh are amazing host! We were able to rescheduled because of some weather issues and Dani was soo supportive through the whole process. She and her husband really made me feel at home. They have an an amazing farm to see around at your visit. The cabin itself was great and had all the essentials. Overall I am so pleased I booked this place!

I camped here with my adventure cat after being in the Rockies for 10 days. It was very peaceful and beautiful, and Dani was an impeccable host. I arrived to find a basket full of goodies, and the site was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. I also really enjoyed Nica and Harvey's visits. I was concerned how they would be with my cat, but as mentioned at check in, they listen very well. Would definitely return!

I’ve spent the past 10 days travelling across Canada, staying at Hipcamp spots and Dani and Josh were hands down the best hosts with the most beautiful property. Directions are clear and easy to find and the camp site is clean, level and thoughtfully set up with chairs, fire pit, bbq and picnic table under a canopy with little solar lights. All this against the backdrop of grazing sheep and horses on the other side of the fence. Dani brought down a gorgeous basket of fresh produce and herbs (the purple basil is amazing) from their farm along with a few other little goodies to make my evening comfortable. I had an unexpected urgent meeting come up that needed a decent signal and though this spot is off-grid, Dani & Josh went out of their way and made it happen!! I’m forever grateful for their help and my only regret is not being able to stay longer and enjoy a tour of their farm and another few nights of serenity. I hope to be back one day - Thank you both!!!

It was a nice big site very flat for some one who has walking issues which I have (MS). Very quiet as it is the only site.The hosts were extremely nice and due to my health issues even gave us extra time to pack up. My only problem was there was no shade. It was rather barren so you could not escape the glaring sun unless you brought your own shade. And no trees also meant no wind block when the severe storms hit. All in all a few modifications and it would be a nice place to stay if you want solitude and don't mind driving to Seba Beach any activity

Danielle and Joshua have a beautiful property. The sunsets, sounds, quietness made this night well worth it. The farm tour was amazing and they were great, down to earth folks that made the stay and tour that much more enjoyable. I never thought I’d say an outhouse was beautiful but they somehow made the outhouse artistic. You can see their touch of style throughout the property with the up cycled design. We will certainly be coming back to this experience. The stars were amazing sight to see when going to the bathroom in the middle of the night. Everything about it was wonderful my only recommendation is for those coming, maybe bring a therma cell or mosquito deterrent for the area as they can get quite bad once there is no breeze but that certainly didn’t take away from the experience. Hidden gem.

This site could not have been more perfect for a father and son to spend on their first camping trip on their own. The facility was perfect and the sheep, chickens and horses and homemade jams and cookies made the experience extra fun. Also, it’s great that they are close to a splash park, restaurants, ice cream stores and fishing. I can’t wait to come back again!

Peaceful, roomy & adorable! Loved our weekend at this hidden little treasure. The hosts were so welcoming, and the site is just perfect. A lot of room for children and dogs to run around safely. Quiet farm views, incredible sunsets. The outhouse on site was very clean, we were provided farm fresh eggs, the grass was well kept, and we loved the privacy that a provincial park just can’t promise. We can’t wait to go back, putting our phones away for a couple days was exactly what we needed.

My family and I family friend stayed at Danielle &Joshua hip camp spot and we passed a really great time the kids love the farm tour and we bought fresh eggs from the farm love the organic food!, They give us a really good tips where to go hiking and the direction for the two closest lakes! I really like their availability whe we text Danielle she always answer me . The two nights was gorgeous and full of stars!!! My kids and I can’t wait to go back!!! And the drive to calgary to get there was pleasant!!
