Right off the 101 fronting Hood Canal, this cozy motel and RV park is 1 mile from Hoodsport and just down the road from Lake Cushman. It sits 30 minutes from the entrance to Olympic National Park with easy access to Staircase Trailhead and Campground. A quick hour and forty minutes from Seattle and you can watch orcas breach, salmon swim, and bald eagles fly! Our crew is kind, facilities clean, and amenities are quality. Brand new benches at each site that also fold to become a table! Amenities include beach access, barbecue facilities, coin operated laundry, hiking trails, observation decks, grassy meadow, a guest clubhouse with showers, and a boat dock. Guests also have access to a hot tub, a picnic gazebo, and a communal lounge. There are several different types of RV sites ranging from creekside, pull throughs, and water views. All sites are FHU (full hookup) and there is wifi/internet on site for RV guest use.

Maximum RV length 40'. Site #14 is a 30/50-amp, back-in, gravel site, located at the very back of the park. This space is the furthest from the road, only has one neighbor, and has it's own firepit. It has a picnic table, plenty of room for parking, and sits next to the path that leads uphill to a green space for the pups. All sites have full hook-ups with a picnic table, electric, water, septic, and WiFi, although the WiFi signal can be weak in this part of the park. We had a great time at The Glenn. The campground is not too big, so we didn’t feel overwhelmed in our small pop up camper. The campground has sites for all sized trailers, 5th wheels and Class A’s. The staff was responsive and helpful, offering tips for places to eat or things to do. The facilities were clean and well maintained. Overall it was a pretty quiet campground especially after dark. Very little traffic at night on the road nearby.

This was our first time staying at The Glen and we LOVED it. We will definitely be back. Friendly, helpful staff with very clean, well maintained facilities. During our stay they had a limited supply of fresh cinnamon rolls in the morning from a local place and they were the perfect way to start our day. The indoor hot tub, showers, and bathrooms were all super clean and well stocked. The back in RV sites offer full hook ups and ours was by the creek which was lovely to listen to during the day. The grounds were surprisingly quiet, even though it was almost full. Everyone was very respectful and friendly. They have a wonderful trail along the creek through the forest, which we really enjoyed. On Saturday night they played the classic Willy Wonka movie on the lawn and had popcorn for everyone. Overall, this was a memorable stay and we cannot wait to go back.

Unexpectedly magical nature trail!

We stopped at this RV resort on a road trip up to Olympic National Park. The amenities were good (laundry, nice lodge) but what really stood out was the incredible nature trail that was literally outside our camper door at site 13. This hike was absolutely magical, especially in the rain. The greenery was so lush, all the trees were dripping with moss and the sounds of the forest in the rain were so memorable. The trail was somewhat overgrown in parts, but not in a bad way - you could tell that the area didn’t get a ton of traffic, which added to the magic. I highly recommend exploring the trail at this park! Close to the rv park there is a bit more trail that goes along the river and has nice picnic tables. If you stay here, don’t skip the nature paths! After also visiting Olympic, I can honestly say that the nature here was at least as impressive as that in the national park, possible more so!

We had a wonderful time here. I’ve passed this place dozens of times over the years but never stopped by, I wish we had sooner! Clean, quiet campground with tons of amenities. Staff were wonderful and it’s close to tons of great hiking trails! Full RV hookups. WiFi, great cell reception with AT&T. They also had a nice hot tub, laundry facilities, and a dock across the road with some great views of the water.

Wonderful place with great sites that have all services available. Great family game area, pool table in the beautiful lobby and a hot tub that has great views of the Hood Canal. Our dog and I found a well established low impact trail that went quite a distance out into the woods with benches and a picnic table.

We really enjoyed this unique campground. It was exceptionally clean (I noticed they checked each site after a camper left and power washed the pad). The staff was very kind and helpful. The hiking trail behind the campground was really great and almost surreal! Our pup loved it! We will definitely be back soon!

Coho Cabin

We stayed in the Coho Cabins - what a luxury! Clean, upgraded, with every amenity you could think of, including a Nespresso. The park itself felt safe, with a nice spa-like hot tub with water views, great staff, and even games in the community area. Walk across the street to a deck with stunning views (you might even catch a glimpse of a seal) and a fairly quiet beach area. I spent many relaxing mornings on that deck. Only complaint is that the photos of the views from within the cabin are inaccurate - the cabins are stacked right next to each other, so there is no mountain or water view as advertised (just trees or the other cabins). Otherwise, such a nice experience.

I couldn’t have planned a better weekend trip. The amount of fun my kids and I had was amazing. Great place to stay, I absolutely recommend it. There were lots of activities for my kids that were put on by the lodge as well as a movie and s’mores on the lawn on Saturday night. Can’t wait to come and do it again. Such a great place to stay. Enjoyed the deck across the way on the dock and the deck next to the dog park area. We even got a little hike in on the trail to the back of the campground. Would stay again but have a car to get around. We came in a class A RV, not able to walk from there to restaurants, parks or anything. Beautiful views and well kept, showers were super clean and laundry room was tidy. Thanks for the great stay!

Gorgeous location!

I was struggling to find a place near Mt Rainier over 4th of July wknd, and ended up booking this place instead. I'm so glad I did, the drive up was absolutely gorgeous. The campground location was beautiful and peaceful, right on the water, with tons of oysters and clams along the shoreline. I went for a swim and there were several sea lions and two bald eagles near the pier! Hoodsport was very busy, with tons of people. But the grocery store was fully stocked, and they have a few cute shops and restaurants. The property itself was well-kept, nice bathrooms and showers and even has a hot tub and laundry. Despite it's small size, and tight camp spots (very close together), it never felt overly crowded. The lobby was gorgeous with a nice sitting area, games and a fireplace. It ended up being a great central spot—about halfway between Mount Rainier and Seattle, and not too far from the Staircase entrance to Olympic National Park. I loved my time here and would definitely stay again!

I am a solo camper and new to rv camping, I privately asked one of the workampers (older lady with long hair) to keep an eye out for me as I was pulling out because it was very crowded for the 4th; and I have a long rig. I told her I was embarrassed to ask for help and that there was a big crowd playing cornhole in front of my site and I didn’t want to disturb them, she then went over there and whispered to the group of people something and they all started watching me, then she asked another employee if he’d ever had to deal with this before and if he wanted to help instead of her doing it…it felt like she made it even more l embarrassing for me (making a spectacle out of it) so I told her to go. I enjoyed the location but that interaction made me Not want to go back there. Oddly the other guy the day before (Taylor) was very sweet and friendly.
