Welcome to Fruit of the Earth Farm, a peaceful 11-acre farm retreat on Washington's beautiful Olympic Peninsula. Camp beside the pond or settle into one of our rustic cabins, surrounded by gardens, fruit trees, flowers, birds and farm animals. Our alpacas, sheep and chickens share the land with us, while frogs, songbirds and other wildlife provide the soundtrack. Guests especially love our clean bathhouse with hot shower and standard toilets — a little bit of comfort after a day outdoors. Depending on the season, farm-fresh eggs, berries, apples and flowers may also be available. This is a quiet place to slow down, breathe deeply and enjoy the land, while still being conveniently located for exploring Port Townsend and the Olympic Peninsula. We’re a great base camp for your adventures. Our property is best suited for guests who plan to spend their days exploring the area and return to a peaceful place to relax, recharge and sleep. We’re not really set up as an all-day campground with large open play areas or lots of space for kids to run and play throughout the property. If you’re looking for a quiet home base between adventures, you’ll feel right at home here. Children are welcome, but must be supervised by an adult at all times. This is a working farm and for the safety of the farm as well as our guests please be sure your children are always with an adult.

Cross the little bridge to this peaceful grassy tent site with some of the best sunset views on the farm. Surrounded by trees with plenty of shade and a view toward the pond, it feels tucked away while still being close to the rest of the farm. This is one of my favorite sites, especially in the evening when the sky lights up at sunset.

Set behind our colorful Sunflower Barn, this level tent site is close to the pond and offers beautiful evening sunset views. There is some shade, with plenty of open space for your tent and camp setup. The ground is grassy through much of the season and becomes naturally drier later in summer. Like our other tent sites, you’ll park in the guest parking area and carry your gear a short distance to the site.

Stay in our colorful Owl Cabin, a simple cedar-lined retreat for campers who want a roof over their heads without giving up the outdoor experience. Cots are provided—just bring your sleeping bags and bedding. The cabin is off-grid with no electricity, so bring a lantern and enjoy a quieter, unplugged stay. Outside, a small porch and bistro table offer a lovely spot for morning coffee or watching the evening sky. This is a small working farm with Alpacas, sheep, chickens, cats and a dog. Depending on the time of year, farm fresh eggs, amazing flowers, ripe apples, delicious blueberries, aronia berries and gooseberries could be available as U pick or purchase. Mountain views, woods, tranquil and relaxing. A peaceful space to enjoy the land, listen to the birds and appreciate nature. This is a wonderful slice of heaven where you can enjoy and respect the land. A place to commune with nature and relax. Quiet time from 10pm - 7am. Close to Finnriver Cidery, Eaglemount Cidery, Port Townsend, Olympic Peninsula hiking, Quilcene (hiking), Fort Worden, Fort Flagler, North Beach, Beaches on Marrowstone Island, Discovery Trail, 35 minutes to Sequim, 45 minutes to Olympic National Park, 1 hour to Port Angeles. The important details: **Check in: Our address is 625 Totem Ridge Rd, Port Hadlock. As you drive up Totem Ridge you will round a corner and see metal gate and a split rail fence on the left. There is a wooden sign on the fence that says 625 Totem (If you get to a large black metal gate you have gone too far). Drive through the gate and up the little hill. At the top you will see a Park sign. Please send a text once you arrive. We can not accommodate arrivals past 9pm. If you are not able to make it by 9pm your reservation will be forfeited with no refund. **Bathroom: there is a lovely bath house available with a full shower, two toilets and a sink. **Water: there is a outside spigot available as well as the sink in the bathroom. Rinsing of dishes can be done at the spigot, but there is no sink for dishes. **Alpacas: the Alpacas, sheep and guardian dog are in a fenced pasture. You are welcome to say hello, but there is no feeding of the animals. If you want to visit with the animals arrangements will need to be made with Leia in advance. **Ponds: there are several ponds on the property. There is no fishing, swimming or boating. You are welcome to pull up a chair and enjoy the view. **Atmosphere: this is a quiet space for relaxing and enjoying nature. If you are looking for a place to drink and party with loud music...we love you...but this isn't your space. This is more of a quiet enjoying nature kind of space. **This space is a great basecamp for exploring the Peninsula. The space works well spending a few hours in camp and the majority of the time exploring the beauty and mystery of the Olympic Peninsula. **Children: While children are welcome, this is not a space for children to play and explore. Children must be with an adult at all times. **Pets: we love animals. We don't allow our guests to bring animals on to the property in order to keep ours (and yours) safe. Please be respectful of the animals at all times. **Fires: at this time we are not set up for wood fires at the campsites. Propane is great when used with great caution once the burn ban has been lifted (Oct as of now).

Stay in our colorful Wildflower Cabin, a cozy off-grid retreat with a rustic burnt-pine and cedar interior. Two cots are provided—just bring your sleeping bags and bedding. There is no electricity, so bring a lantern and enjoy a simple, unplugged night on the farm. A small bistro table gives you a place to relax, and the cabin is close to the pond with beautiful evening sunset views.

This was a great spot, convenient to town (and FinnRiver Cidery!) The property is well kept, the bath/restroom facilities are clean and comfortable, and we enjoyed meeting the host and picking apples! Would enjoy visiting again.

Beautiful farm to camp! The campsites are spaced out so it feels private. The ground was pretty sloped/uneven which resulted in us sliding down our tent at night. Otherwise a great time though - the bathrooms and hot running water (even showers) were clean and such a treat. Definitely add on feeding the alpacas!! They’re adorable.

We enjoyed our weekend camping trip! The site was as described, a quiet spot near the pond. The bathrooms were clean and it was great to have flush toilets. Leia was quick to respond to messages. As a bonus, the farm is close to Finnriver Cider, which is a favorite spot for my family.

Owl Cedar Cabin
This was our third visit to the little cabins at Fruit of the Earth, and we always have a wonderful time. The property is beautiful and Leia is a great host. I was so glad we opted for the dozen farm fresh eggs with our booking this time, and in the past we’ve loved getting to meet and feed the animals. Can’t wait to come back!

Generally the property was as advertised with a clean flush bathroom and shower. It is clear that much time has been taken into managing the property, e.g. many young trees, art work, etc. Unfortunately that left little room for our children to play.

Leia's farmstay was a treat! She has beautifully crafted the land with considerable thought and care. Our site was private and serene. The bathrooms were nice and clean. Our two year old loved the alpacas and berry picking. We came here for 4th of July to escape the noise of fireworks, and that didn't work out very well, but that isn't Leia's fault! 10/10 would recommend and would return.

Great little secluded spot to camp! We were the only ones there, but the spots were really spread out so it felt very private. The trees were spaced petfectly for a hammock, and the picnic table was an added bonus. The full bathroom + shower made it feel like we were camping in luxury! Only complaint is that the only tent spots were at just a bit of a slant, but it was still totally workable.

The property was very nice with well spaced out campsites with picnic tables. Site #6 was pretty private, mostly surrounded by trees and a pond. The bath house was clean and very luxurious for camping! It’s a bit of a walk to the site from the parking area, and the path is pretty steep and uneven if you’re hauling your gear with the carts they provide. I suggest temporarily parking up top on the gravel road while you unpack your camping gear. Our only other complaint was there was a lot of noise coming from the nearby garage late at night when we were trying to sleep. Overall, it’s a beautiful, secluded area to camp surrounded by nature. Bring bug spray!

We had a lovely time at Leia's campsite. We arrived late the first night and Leia's husband very kindly stayed up to help us find our campsite in the dark. The heated bathroom and showers are great, very welcome in the middle of a camping trip. We can also highly recommend picking the delicious strawberries and raspberries and meeting the alpacas, dog and goats! Lovely hosts and a beautiful well cared for space.

We had a wonderful stay on Leia’s property! We arrived later than expected the first night and Leia was very responsive to our changes in plans. The buildings are colorful, scenery beautiful and space peaceful. The flowers and plants were in bloom, the frogs were serenading and the bugs weren’t bad. We were attending a wedding and the bathhouse was sufficient for us to get ready. Leia also saved the day when we found the door was accidentally locked and she was able to come down and unlock it quickly for us. The road is quiet and not highly traveled, but easy to find (even in the dark!) We highly recommend this camp for a quiet retreat!

What a great place to stay! The frogs came to life in the evenings and made for a very enjoyable night rest. Leia was super helpful with any requests we had. The farm fresh eggs were a nice bonus (we picked up two dozen!). Can't wait to come back.

The hosts were accommodating to the max! Beautiful property and perfect location wedged between Port Townsend and Fort Flagler! Wonderful bathroom/shower available to all. I recommend this to anyone needing a spot to stay if visiting Jefferson county :)

We had a gorgeous week living outside at the farm with the alpacas. The clean bathroom and hot shower made our evenings even more enjoyable as we all stayed clean. I especially enjoyed the large wind chime in the forest near our tent. It was soothing and so peaceful listening to the music the wind played. We felt safe on the property and Willy & Leia were both really kind and helpful! We look forward to if we can stay there again someday!

My family of 3 loved tent camping at site 6 on the Earth Farm. It was quiet and peaceful and all of us loved meeting and feeding the animals and learning about the farm. We found the mosquitoes to be not bad at all (they were far worse at a Baker Lake campground). Easily repelled. We'll definitely be back!

Site 5 was very peaceful and the grounds were pretty. Loved the clean bath house and especially the hot shower. We enjoyed the zen type feeling. Also, it was close to North Beach. We will visit again.

Great flushing toilets, sink and shower (bring your own towel)! Beautiful flowers everywhere. Kids loved when Leia showed them the animals. I loved chatting with her about gardening and her farm. She was so kind. The place was lovely. BUT there was a TON of mosquitos by the pond. They were around all day but we got absolutely swarmed as the afternoon went on. Come fully armed against those pesky good-for-nothings and you'll be okay.

My family and I had a very nice stay. The bathroom and shower house was nicely done and clean. The camp spots were quiet and peaceful. Leia showed our two children their alpacas, sheep and chickens. We really appreciated your hospitality. Would definitely recommend to fellow campers!

Great location for casual camping! When we arrived there was soft ethereal music playing up at the host’s residence which gave forest fairy vibes and didn’t carry over to the campsite (only frogs, songbirds, and the occasional faint rooster). Finnriver Cidery was just 3 minutes down the road, as was a cute market!! The fire pit was great and the host provided wood and kindling. The communal bathroom was clean and cute. The hosts were helpful and friendly, as was the farm cat!

Will & Leia’s farm was just lovely! With lush and well-maintained wildlife, the site was the perfect glamping expedition, complete with showers and a few toilets. It was a pleasure to stay on the site and would certainly recommend to friends.
