Experience Ranch Life on a 22-acre horse ranch/equine sanctuary located 10 minutes from the Downtown Georgetown Square! Family friendly and makes a fun weekend away from the big city! Bring your camper (we have 50 or 30amp hookup) and spend time meeting our 27 horses, 20 goats, 1 micro-pig, donkey and cow. There is a 2 story deck on the barn where you can enjoy a bottle of wine at sunset or morning coffee at sunrise with a view!

We have 27 horses, goats, micro pigs, a donkey and a cow to meet in the pastures. We are a non-profit equine sanctuary and take in horses mostly from neglect cases and rehabilitate them. Lots of opportunities to meet all the horses on the property. They love carrots if you want to bring some to share. Also, we are on the end of a private road which is quiet during the weekend and is a nice place to walk. We are only a short drive to the downtown Historic Georgetown Square which has tons of restaurants and shops!

This ranch is an absolute gem. Each horse has a story with so many being rescued and are now thriving! There are ample opportunities to interact with the animals and enjoy the surroundings including a beautiful night sky. Amber has an incredible place to escape and reset- I will definitely be adding this to my rotation!

We had a great stay here. The animals were extremely friendly and being able to interact with them so closely was a huge bonus for us! The site was easy to get in to and the host was very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!

Amazing experience camping amongst the horses and other animals. The hosts were very welcoming and accommodating. I hope to be able to go back again soon.

We really enjoyed camping here, and Amber made us feel incredibly welcome. We decided to camp in the pasture, and were greeted by many horses, cows, and goats, which were all so friendly. Don’t let their curiosity make you worried, the animals like to get close and check you and your tent out, but they’re very gentle and love to be pet. Do know that this is a pasture with animals in it. To be prepared for this, I’d recommend bringing shoes that you don’t mind getting dirty and a tarp for your tent. Amber can also help you find a good spot to pitch!

What a unique place to stay! Enjoyed the remote spot to park our RV, a quiet walk among the farm animals. Hosts were friendly and answered any messages in a timely manner, would consider staying again!

We spent a wonderful 4 nights at KW Equine Sanctuary. We traveled to TX from Oregon for the Eclipse, and the clouds cooperated! We had power and water, and access to a bathroom. All were great. Level spot, right next to a round pen which was occupied a couple of mornings by one horse or another. I miss having a horse and this was an awesome place to hang out and be with the animals after exploring the area each day. Would definitely stay again!

Stayed for two weeks at this wonderful ranch and rescue. The weather was not optimal, week one freezing and week two rain. The entire family made us feel welcome and Mackenzie the ranch hand was wonderful, she taught us all about the horses, goats, pigs (poppy and Pricilla), joey the donkey and porter the smallest pony I have ever met. Daily I got to feed them apples and carrots. This is not a campground, this is a ranch but this family made sure we had water and electric and there was a way to dump. We were able to receive mail and Amazon. Georgetown is a nice town and it is about twenty minutes to Austin.

The older I get the more I appreciate animals and those who love them. We got to (trailer) camp here last weekend. Each of the horses (who gingerly approached us and ate carrots out of our hands) were rescued from a less-than-ideal situation and brought back to life through extreme nurture and care by Amber and her family. Was really calming being there. Coco the "barncat" seemed to run the place, escorting us in and out of the barn to make sure we didn't get out of line.

Nice setting. Interesting place for the grandchildren with all the horses, goats, pig, and cow. Easy hookup for our motorhome. Close and easy access to Georgetown.

It was very peaceful. Amberle's instructions were perfect. Very close to town but still far enough. Horses were very friendly. I wish we could have seen the mini pigs. All together it was a perfect stay. We will come again. Thank you Amberle.

We had a great time at the ranch! It was quiet, clean, and comfortable. Convenient location to everything. The hosts were friendly, helpful, and accommodating. I would recommend!

The ranch feels a million miles away while actually located in the suburbs of Austin. We felt very welcomed. I was impressed with the rescue work they do there for horses.
