Five stars for the incredible peace and quiet, but casual campers be warned: this is deep, remote country. The site is small and primitive. Just 4 tight tent spaces and simple rock-circle fire pits. Which keeps the vibe wonderfully quiet. Coming in from the west along the coastline is a smooth drive through small towns. However, if you take the south road out, be ready for some serious, rough mountain driving that can get intense in heavy rain or fog. Keep a sharp eye out for moose on these roads. They are a massive, serious danger out here, especially in low visibility.
Cell service out here is quite spotty depending on your provider, and local gas stations close early, so definitely fuel up before evening falls. If you love a rare chance to truly disconnect, this place is flawless. Will absolutely be back.

Endroit très tranquille mais vous devez être autonome a 100% car il n'y a pas d'accès à l'eau potable. Belle rivière et chose rare. Il y a un spa ($)

We enjoyed our week camping here. It was very quiet and pretty much anything you need is back there! We lived waking down to the river in the evening to skip rocks!

It was fine for a quick overnight. Washroom needed a bit of maintenance on the steps. Didn't explore all the cool stuff listed

We loved our stay at RAC. Trails were super fun, sauna and swimming hole were dreamy, so nice to be able to camp right there. We so appreciated the experience, thanks for opening your land to campers. Hoping to come back someday!

Overall it was a nice campsite. However, I had no idea which site was mine. I tried to reach the host and never heard back so I just picked one that I liked.
The bathroom and shower area was very clean and easy to find.
Firewood was pretty much fending for yourself and picking up whatever you could find that was already fallen.

We had an amazing time camping at RAC! The swimming hole was the highlight for us. We had a quiet night, miles from the road and any noise or light pollution. It was a wonderful evening and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the spot. Thanks for having us!

We pulled in thinking we were camping on the beach but immediately noticed tiny pull-in car camping lots all very close together. I wasn't the happiest to see this as I was expecting a private night on the beach and Antoine wasn't there at check-in as advertised. The friendly neighbour told us that originally it was pebble beach camping, but that has since changed due to water levels and we were expecting 80 mm of rain that night. We messaged Antoine to see if we could camp in the tree house we stumbled upon given the rain. He didn't reply but that same nice neighbour told us the place is pretty quiet and to just go for it. We took our tent down and had a magical (and dry) night in the tree house. Beautiful spot! Next time we’ll fire up the sauna across from the tree house. Don't let the lack of communication deter you. This place is an empty but dazzling gem!

La place est extrêmement belle et très bien entretenue! On voit que les proprios aiment leur terrain et veulent le partager avec les autres. Par contre, nous n’avons pas pu entrer en contact avec le host. Aucune réponse à nos messages et le numéro de téléphone est non-fonctionnel. Nous avions l’impression d’être là illégalement pour notre nuit, et de ne pas être en Hip camp. Le lendemain, nous avons croisé une employé du camping qui nous a dit qu’elle allait rectifier la chose (communication avec le host).

Magical place. It’s very secluded and the property itself is absolutely stunning. I picked to start my 30th bday there and no regrets. The way to the river is steep. There’s stairs l so if u have dogs ur going to have to go through the side.
