Peaceful, rustic, economical stay
Overall we had a good experience. The trailer and surrounding area is private and exactly as shown in the pictures. The property is along the Bonnechere River but you do not have a view of the river from the trailer. A mowed path leads you to the river’s edge. The river was very fast flowing when we visited and not suitable for swimming. A fire pit is available, however we did not use it as it was beside long grass and a pile of lumber. Sadly, not a very inviting place to enjoy a campfire. The trailer is supplied with ample toilet paper, a fan for hot days which was very helpful, and has mostly complete kitchen ware. (There were no bread knives in the drawer.) Unfortunately we did find mouse droppings in the kitchen. The trailer met our needs because we were meeting up with friends to explore the surrounding area such as the Bonnechere Caves and Bonnechere Provincial Park and we just needed a base camp for our evenings. A peaceful, rustic, economical stay.
