Nomadic camping
Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.
Off grid Rustic cabins that boarders the Adirondack state forest. Plenty of lakes and ponds to canoe, fish and swim at hiking, Mts biking, Atv and snowmobile trail system to explore. Pristine forest to explore on property, glacier boulders and cliff face to hike around on site. Need 4wd to cross state road wetlands to get onto property. Pack in and pack out all gear and garbage. Outhouse and insta-hot shower station by cistern, weather permitting for shower. Wood burning firebox for heat, propane two burner for cooking, Pack in water to drink and clean. Generator for electric for cabin if needed. No refrigerator must have cooler and ice for cold storage during warmer months. Only the Fire pit in front of cabin is permitted No guns permitted or hunting on property. There is a land caretaker who checks on property. This is an ideal place to unplug and get back to nature. Ground yourself and forest batheThis is an off grid cabin. There is a water crossing to get to the property and a straight up hill climb. 4x4 required. Must bring own water. There is a bath house with a cistern for shower water. Outhouse for bathroom. Main cabin has a 30amp generator disconnect. Two sleeping areas. Main cabin and bunk house. There is a two burner magic chef cook top with (20lbs)propane tank. Fire pit by main cabin must forage for fire wood. The split wood piles are for wood stove only. Many hiking trails on property and a geo cash site close by. There are many geological environments on the property from huge boulders to massive old growth pine trees. Wetlands to rock outcroppings overlooking beaver ponds. There is a tree platform with a 170’ zip line next to the cabin. There is a convenient store/ gas station in town, a small diner and ice cream shop seasonal. There are areas to set up a campsite by the beaver ponds. Overland campers vehicles with 4x4 can park on property. This is an off grid property. All terrain vehicles are allowed on existing marked trails. There is a giant state trail system that circumnavigates the Adirondack state Forrest. This property boarders the state property. Must be mindful of other property owners private land. Trails cut through private property and must stay on marked trails. You can drive your 4x4 to the cabin site, fits (4) cars. Other vehicles will have to park by access road. Access road must stay clear at all times. It is access for the other property owners. Pack in pack out all your property and trash. Anything land or property destroyed during your stay will be documented and charged to your credit card. Land manager and owner will inspect property and trails after visit.
