Super stunning place but I’d definitely plan your trash & waste disposal ahead of time! We saw some reviews that it was difficult to get to but didn’t agree, however the chain has changed colors!

Better direction!! Spent have the day, Saturday, searching for the site! No one in the area knew of hideaway tv and campgrounds! Not even the pub you advertised knew of you! Owners, worker and customers that have live there their whole life knew of the campgrounds

Very nice spot along the creek/river. Quiet, easy access, very clean lot. Would live to come back when the weather is warmer and we are able to stay longer.

Great spot right on the Catt. Creek. with a great fire pit, ample room, and a good amount of privacy.
I unfortunately had to end my stay only a few hours in due to rain. This was no fault of William’s, of course. Highly recommend his HipCamp spot; I’ll be going back on a clearer forecasted evening soon.

This is now my hidden gem. It offers everything I want. Close to home base, but far enough to feel like I'm camping. The river is so relaxing. The stars are magnificent.

William was kind, welcoming, and helpful over our chat communications. His land is beautiful. Just off a quiet road, the campsite is right on the creek. There’s a large fire pit right in front of the water, trees for hammocking, horseshoe stakes, and plenty of room for any set up. If coming from the Springville area, the drive is easy. If coming from East Otto/Zoar area, be prepared for some steep hills along the creek. Nothing my 15 year old rig couldn’t handle! We had an amazing time and plan to come back soon.

Great place to camp, it was out in the wilderness but at the same time close to everything. Nice large site with a water view. The only thing I wish was the electric was a little bit more heavy duty; but we had no problems. Overall great trip and I’d definitely come back and recommend to anyone looking for something different than a resort.

This is a lovely, secluded spot along the Cataragus Creek. Access to the water, bring your fishing gear. Very nice fire pit, but no privy. We enjoyed it!

So, I was coming in late around sunset. I can't tell you if it was nice, I'm sure it was. But.,.. if you are coming in from the west and following gps, the road is brutal. Very hilly, lots of deer and really nerve racking. I was concerned about my transmission honestly. I wasn't sure where to park when I arrived at my stated time and after about 15 minutes looking around, not sure if I was at the correct place, I ended up leaving and staying at the Walmart down the road. Thank goodness it wasn't too hot out but definitely not what I had planned. Apparently the owner fell asleep around the time I arrived at 845pm so I didn't hear back until 6am. Not helpful to me after a long day driving. So if you are coming in earlier it's probably great?

We had a great experience. The site was nice and quiet and we had a relaxing trip. There was wood already at the site and we bought more from William while we were there. We did message once about getting the electricity turned on and he responded immediately. Highly recommend!

Roadside campsite on the Cattaraugus Creek. Plenty of room with options on where pitch tent and canopy. Saw many birds, squirrels a couple watersnakes and heard a couple raccoon. Fireflies were abundant and we saw several groups of kayakers pass by in the creek. Able to access the creek from campsite. View of creek from fireplace location. Scoby Dam Nature trail 15 min away was worth checking out and recommended if you haven't seen. Sundays are "Bike and Band Day" at the local tavern. We were able to hear the live music from "Beard and the Bird" without having to leave our site. Seemed to be a Very popular event for motorcyclists. Group of 16 kayakers parked a few pickups on the north side of the road across from Bills property and ask to launch their kayaks via our campsite Sunday afternoon. We consider returning in the future..with kayaks of course.

We really enjoyed the privacy of this site and the layout for camping. The view of the stream from the fire pit area was great. We only stayed one night, but wish we were able to stay longer. Highly recommend this site and we plan on returning. Side note, we accidentally tripped the circuit breaker for the electric provided and the owner was quick to resolve it.

Second time at Williams spot and it's awesome! Brought my fishing pole this time but heavy rains the day before made it a little murky and the water was moving very fast. We'll be back with our tear drop this summer.

We had a great time tent camping at Hideaway, William was very hospitable and friendly, our dogs loved the river and had a great view of the stars, very secluded but close to town. Would definitely recommend a visit.

The camp was easy to find thanks to a well placed sign. Once we arrived we were greeted by the creek which was steps away from our site. The setting was very peaceful, the host was gracious and accommodating. He gave great directions on where to park for kayaking. Dinner was amazing at the newly reopened tavern a half mile away. We can’t wait to camp there again!
