Secluded Campsite by the lake
We loved the location. They're not kidding about needing 4wd. Super secluded and quiet and we enjoyed being "on our own". However, the lake was almost non-existent. It's not the host's fault - we are in a drought - but we really would have loved to have been notified ahead of time. We probably would have looked to see if there was availability at any of the other tent sites etc as we were really looking forward to the water. The lack of communication is the only think holding us back from giving it a higher review. That said, the site is great and I'm sure we'll be back in the future.

Fall Camping with the Dogs
We love camping at Spring Lake Ranch. We were at site #7 and while it could use some additional gravel on the site it’s got a great view of the lake in the distance during the fall and being so close to the horses and the barn was great too. It’s quiet (when the construction on part of their back property during the week) stops and there’s good hiking too. Being adjacent to Edg Clif winery is a big bonus. We’ll definitely be back for another fun adventure with our dogs.

The property is so beautiful and there is so much to discover on walks. It was very quiet and peaceful, and possibly the best place I've been to star gaze! My friend and I spent time collecting geodes, visiting the animals and sitting by the fire. My only advice is to arrive in the daylight, as it gets quite dark at night.

We really enjoyed our stay at Spring Lake. It was quiet and the lake is absolutely beautiful! Great fishing! The staff was very friendly. We were in drive through site 4 full hook up. It was a good spot for our 30' camper...thankfully. ( the other camper spots are more suitable for smaller campers) And the camper area is set up a little to close together compared to normal, But a full dump station at the site was very convienient. It was a tight drive into the camp ground but we had no problems navigating it. Friends tent camped and some stayed in cabins. Those areas are really nice and the bath house was very nice and clean. We will definately be back!

Great Experience; So glad we came
We loved staying here! The bathrooms were newly renovated and very clean. String lights outside made for a pretty sight at night. Campsites were closer together than expected, so take note of that when booking. Plenty of activities and staff were very helpful. Cows, horses, bison, and the sweetest puppy will most likely try and play fetch with you. Will be coming back!

Beautiful Water Front Camping!
Site 2 was right on the lake and absolutely gorgeous! The grounds were very well taken care of. We enjoyed our stay and plan to go again!
PS: There is a little barn cat that runs around the campsites and is so adorable.

Great site if you love fishing or hanging by the lake. A bit rocky so be prepared for difficulties when driving a tent stake into the ground. Gorgeous view. Comes equipped with a fire pit. 5 min walk to the clean bathhouse. Nice spot.

Beautiful with some caveats
Beautiful property with a good variety of amenities - hiking, horseback riding, kayaking, fishing, and a winery/brewery with live music just down the road. The RV sites themselves could be better - very close together, all gravel and not level at all so it was a little tough to get set up. Some have the hookups on the wrong side also. The road going in is tight and windy so I wouldn't consider this big rig friendly. Overall though, we'd still come back because of the gorgeous peaceful setting.

Peninsula Camp 10/7 to 10/9, 2022
The location was nice, really felt like we were away from the crowd. The site had great views. The lake level was down, looked like maybe by 2 feet, so the peninsula was really more of a point. But still nice. The staff was great. I would consider coming back again. Thanks.

Beautiful property. Very clean with well kept animals, gorgeous lake. Enjoyed our stay except for a few things: pets to be on leashes but several large dogs tagged to be owned by the property roamed the camp site making it hard keep your pet calm and enjoy them, walking/riding trails well kept but no signs posted on length or difficulty of trails ( no trail maps either), hard to get a hold of anyone ( regarding unleashed dogs, general question).

Lake front Camping
Had a great time at spring lake. Stayed at tent site A 2. Being right on the lake was beautiful. Was a little difficult to stake in certain spots due to rocks. Bathrooms were nice and clean. Bonus, there is a electric outlet near site 1 that can be utilized in needed. Sites are a lil close to each other. Would definitely recommend this campsite.

First Time here
Love all the animals, especially the horses! Beautiful property, sites are clean and well maintained, however communication is poor. It is difficult to get ahold of anyone from management, especially on the weekend. Difficult to level RV, due to uneven gravel. There are signed posted that dogs must be on leach, however there were dogs owned by property maintenance people running around free; they were friendly but we had to keep our pets inside because of this. Overall it was an enjoyable weekend, would recommend.

Rv full hookup site 7. Very unlevel. Tall weeds surrounding spot. Muddy. To be fair though lots of rain heading into my stay. Nice place quiet. Yes I would return just not to that site. 8/10 stay other than very undeveloped site.
