Sunnybrae Cottage is a cozy, fully renovated one-bedroom rural cottage with a bedroom and en-suite bathroom. There is also a bed chesterfield in the living room which can sleep a second couple. The cottage has a kitchen, bathroom, and living room/dining area with access to an organic garden and orchard. The property overlooks Shuswap Lake with beautiful views of the lake and mountains. Shuswap Lake is a popular recreational destination in B.C. The 1000 kilometres of shoreline has more than two provincial parks and offers unlimited water-related recreational opportunities. The surrounding mountains provide beautiful trails for cross-country skiing, snowmobiling, mountain biking and hiking. The cottage is a quiet place in nature! Relax on the beach at Paradise Point Park, a 10-minute walk away, where the water is silky smooth. Herald Park, with a swimming area, boat launch and picnic area, is a 10-minute drive away. This cottage is a great home base for a couple or small family who wish to relax and enjoy all the Shuswap Lake area offers. Activities nearby include great hiking, fishing, sightseeing, boating, wine tours etc. Both the towns of Salmon Arm, B.C. and Sorrento, B.C., are less than 1/2 hour away.
