Welcome to Radius Retreat — a quiet yurt sanctuary tucked into the mountains, just 2 minutes from Radium Hot Springs. Perched above the Columbia Valley and surrounded by wild forest and conservation land, our off-grid haven offers a chance to slow down and truly settle in. No traffic, no timelines — just the whisper of the pines and the night sounds of the hills. Our trails meander through the forest and up to the ridge, are are open to wanderers of all kinds — whether you’re here to hike, bike, journal, sketch, or simply breathe. Stargazing is spectacular thanks to the total lack of light pollution, and dogs are always welcome at no charge. This is a place for people who crave stillness, story, and space — where you can stretch out, feel the rhythm of the land, and reconnect with something quieter.

This drive-up Yurt is perfect for those craving mountain immersion with the ease of direct access. Whether you're arriving with little ones, toting extra gear, or simply seeking quick comfort and quiet, The Warren welcomes you into a private clearing wrapped in the scent of pine and the calm of wild surroundings. Inside, the yurt hums with handcrafted charm - a handcrafted log bed with the comfiest mattresses, and a cozy woodstove for cooler mountain nights. Outside, gather around your own fire ring, complete with a propane stove, a picnic table and chairs made for lingering meals and starry conversations. Just bring your own bedding - and a good book to snuggle in with - and the Yurt is ready for you. A short path leads to your own clean and fresh composting outhouse, and if you ar eup for a bit of a hike - you'll also have access to shared outdoor showers and our seasonal watering hole- a refreshing natural plunge to wash off the world and sink deeper into stillness. Though easily accessed by vehicle, The Warren feels a world apart. Surrounded by protected wilderness- Kootenay National Park to one side, Nature Conservancy lands on the other, and Radium 2 nimutes away, it’s a grounding base for slow mornings, sun-drenched hikes, and evenings wrapped in firelight.

It’s the only yurt on the property with drive-up access, offering all the ease of arrival while still connecting you to Radius’ vast network of forested trails and shared amenities. Inside and out, The Haven delivers everything you need for a restorative glamping escape — and a few surprises you didn’t even know you needed! The Warren - Drive Up Yurt
We had a wonderful glamping experience at Radium Retreat! 🌲✨ The site was easy to locate and fully drivable, which made arrival stress-free. The place is very clean and well-kept — you can tell the owner puts a lot of care into it, and we particularly like the composting toilet. The indoor fireplace was a lovely touch and easy to set up, we had a good sleep during the stay. We also enjoyed the privacy — we didn’t see other groups during our stay, so it felt like we had the entire retreat to ourselves. For a natural site like this, it was a pleasant surprise to have bio-friendly shampoo and body wash provided when we arrived at the shower place. A few things to note: the The watering hole/shower room is about a 20-minute walk from the Warren, so be prepared. Reading the map and guidebook in advance is highly recommended, as there are some activities that the retreat site can offer. We could have got lost if we didn't read the instruction getting to the watering hole (There is one more junction that the map didn't show). More photos online would also help guests get a clearer idea of choosing yurt or getting around. Lastly, reserve extra time to explore the trails — I didn’t get the chance this time and wish I had! Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and well-run glamping getaway.
