PERFECTION!
- private lake for swimming
- massive dock
- a million places to put your tent, both sunny and shady
- wind blowing off the lake to keep you cool

- enough service to check your messages but not enough service to waste time on your phone

- everything looked & felt like a fairytale

We completely enjoyed this wonderful location! Echo Lake is stunning and the expansive grounds allowed for hikes up the mountain trails and along the lake. Our site was nestled back in the trees with complete privacy. We took advantage of the canoe and paddled out to the beaver dams among the lily pads.
We would have stayed longer had time allowed - it was that wonderful!

Our stay here was exactly what was needed to recharge the batteries and embrace fall. We had gorgeous weather so we took in all the activities we could - hiking, swimming, kayaking, taking in mornings and sunsets and stargazing at night. The hike on the property offers a great view, my husband and I enjoyed it thoroughly. Having a property like this is a dream. The owners Susan and Steven sure have put some touches that give it a real zen feeling. Thank you and we’d love to come back soon.

This place is absolutely beautiful! We brought our truck with a bed tent and found the perfect area to set up for the weekend! Susan was very helpful showing us around the property when we first arrived. Scout is such a cutie and we loved when she would come say hello to us. (She has a great sense of smell for hotdogs). The lake is beautiful to go out on for an afternoon paddle as well!
My girlfriend and I would highly recommend this place to anyone! The hike to the lookout is a good one and the view is well worth it!

Echo Lake
I really enjoyed my two nights. I was needing some quiet time and the property was perfect. The hike to the top of mountain was a good way to start the day and take in the views.

Echo Lake
Camping here was great! Beautiful property that is well maintained and has lots to see. The lake is warm, there are some nice hikes nearby, and Scout keeping all other animals away makes the place feel like your own little oasis. You also have a ton of space to yourself. Overall would highly recommend, it’s borderline glamping!

Echo Lake
We absolutely loved our weekend of camping at Susan’s Harrison oasis.
There was so much to do- we almost felt like we didn’t have enough time to do it all! The hike to a surprise little location was the highlight and Susan even let my partner and I borrow her families canoe for an afternoon.
We couldn’t recommend this spot enough. Anyone is lucky to stay here!

Echo Lake
Echo Lake is a lovely slice of paradise within an hour of the lower mainland! The lake is warm and swimmable but bring water shoes as the entry can be a bit weedy. The access to the campsites was a tad tight for our Dodge Camper Van but we made it! Only negative was the mosquitos which were awful but that’s somewhat par for the course around this time of the year anywhere. Susan was super communicative and her dog Scout is a sweetie!

As far as camping spots go, it doesn’t get much better than this! Susan, her partner and Scout, their adorable dog, were so welcoming and lovely + the location just could not have been more beautiful. As well as the obvious HUGE bonus of having a private lake, there are also hikes, mountains, stunning gardens and so much breathtaking nature right on your doorstep. We loved all the vintage cars, boats and quirky little touches sprinkled around the property too, there’s so much to do and explore. We loved the hike Susan recommended that’s part of the land you’re staying on, the view at the top is incredible and it’s an easy going hike with big rewards. We also loved playing with Scout the dog who was gentle. Overall, we just couldn’t recommend staying at Echo lake enough! :)

Beautiful lake that’s perfect for swimming and other water activities. The campsite is very spacious and well kept with a trail to the top of a mountain that’s got great views. Highly recommend!

This place is magical. Our host Susan was very courteous and kind, and the grounds are extensive and beautiful, reminiscent of a Japanese garden. The Kitnayakwa is a fascinating piece of history as well.
The valley is a nice cool pocket on a hot day, and stargazing at night was excellent with almost no residual light from anywhere. Bring your telescope <3
