Caravan Outpost is a small, thoughtfully built place to stay in the heart of the Slocan Valley- just a short walk to the river and the lake…nestled in a peaceful yet accessible setting. Each accommodation option offers a slightly different experience, but all share the same connection- simplicity, comfort and connection to the landscape. This is not a traditional stay. It’s quieter here…softer, a little less plugged in. Evenings settle gently around the fire. Mornings begin slowly. You’ll have access to a very luxe outdoor shower,clean well stocked and appointed outhouse, shared outdoor spaces including fire pit and outdoor kitchen. The river is very close and the lake is minutes away. Rails to trails offers beautiful walking and cycling along the river with across to the entire valley. Perfect for couples, small groups or anyone looking to step away from everyday life. Curated culinary experiences may be available- ask upon booking. Full property rentals for special occasions, family gatherings, creative retreats or whatever you can dream are also available….with the option of fully catered stays. we aim yo make your getaway as joyful as possible.

The Poplar Tent- smaller bell tent perfect for travelling solo or with 1-2 of your friends. sleeps 1-3 in single bed configuration. Also styled with comfy bedding,and touches of luxe.
