This 5m canvas bell tent on a spacious wooden deck comfortably sleeps 4 in real beds with mattresses (you bring your own bedding). No light pollution here. The tent is one of three located on a shared 1-acre site within 600+ private acres. The site is easily accessible from the highway but is somewhat remote, so be prepared to drive approx. 4 kilometres on gravel. A high-clearance vehicle is recommended. Limited parking is available adjacent to the site; more parking is located 300m away but gear drop-off is available adjacent to the site. We provide a gear buggy for transporting your gear down to the tent site (approx. 50m from parking.) The Wetlands are home to over 300 species of birds – feast your eyes on eagles, turkey vultures, pileated woodpeckers and listen to the swoop of nighthawks at sunset. Hike on our private trails which meander through shady glades, strawberry fields, or open benches with views of the valley for hundreds of kilometres in each direction.
