Riverside Dome
A truly special stay. The directions and GPS coordinates were clear, access was easy, and the dome felt wonderfully secluded, surrounded by the river, open fields and forest, with virtually no noise or traffic.
The dome itself was spacious, beautifully designed and exceptionally clean. We even had a thunderstorm overnight, and it remained completely comfortable and secure inside. The wood stove, generous blankets and available heating options made it very cozy.
The outdoor shower area was an unexpected highlight, with hot water, a sauna, seating and a peaceful space for yoga or simply relaxing. The surrounding area also offers beautiful forest trails, kayaking and canoeing nearby, while a charming little town with cafés, a bakery and shops is only a short drive away.
Arie was warm, accommodating and genuinely welcoming. It felt less like renting a property and more like being invited to enjoy something he had thoughtfully created. Peaceful, romantic and full of character, we left wishing we had stayed longer, and I would absolutely return.
Arie was an awesome host and a genuinely nice and generous person! His property is epic, and the dome was super nice inside! You can tell he put a lot of work and effort into creating a beautiful space for folks to enjoy. The experience was certainly worth the price; I would say he is almost underselling it as it far exceeded our expectations based off the photos. Bear Lake is also only a 10-minute walk away and a really nice swimming hole. I brought an engagement ring with me on this trip, and I have been waiting for the right time to pop the question; at one point in the dome the afternoon sun was lighting the space so beautifully. I knew the moment was perfect and she said yes! This place will be forever special to us :) We will be coming back for sure.
