Private campsite Near Saguaro NP
Claire and her site were great. I really appreciated everything. The accommodations were wonderful: running water with outdoor sink, clean bathhouse with hot water, gas grill, fire pit, picnic table with shade, and extra chairs for lounging. I've been to about a dozen Hipcamps and this has to be one of the best, especially at the price! I will definitely come back if I'm in the neighborhood.

Desert Oasis
Claire has a wonderful plot of land in the west Arizona desert and is very hospitable and considerate as a host. Her location is close to Tucson Mountain Park and Saguaro Ntl Park giving a ton of opportunity for adventures around Tucson. Her land is very well managed and up kept. There are tons of spots for tents, RV, as well hangout spots with grills all around the 4 acres. There is a garden, turtle pond, mediation maze, and chicken coop making this location feel very homey. Her outdoor shower (completely enclosed) is a nice cherry on top. I highly recommend Rancho Relaxo.

Perfect for Tucson & Saguaro NP
Our stay here was great! Claire was very communicative and friendly, even brought us fresh eggs for breakfast. The property is beautiful, and the indoor/outdoor bathroom was great! There's even a camp sink right by the tent plot to help ease cooking. Also, ~10 minute drive from Saguaro West NP. We loved seeing wildlife as well.

I stayed here in my Class B campervan during the end of May and it was hot! Luckily The RV spot is next to the shade of a good-size tree and there is an electric hookup so I could use my fan or a/c. The host Claire was absolutely amazing! She greeted me as I got to the gate and gave me a rundown of the farm and the surrounding area and made some good restaurant recommendations. The farm is so charming with many thoughtful details- of note: a fountain- water-well, benches under trees, and an area to play horseshoe. My favorite part of it all was probably the meditation circle maze and the path that lets you walk around the whole property. I loved the outdoor kitchen prep area with sink and a bin for trash disposal along with the outdoor bathroom, especially the rainfall shower. I would love to come back here during the colder months and do some longer hikes during cooler weather!

A desert oasis!
Claire was amazing!we struggled getting our tent up and she helped us and gave us fresh chicken eggs for breakfast! The property is awesome! Beautiful sunrises and sunsets as you walk the path along the property. The animals on the property are friendly but mostly stay out of your way. Gorgeous bathhouse with a waterfall shower! 10/10 highly recommend staying here!! Oh!! The best part it’s minutes from saguaro national park!

Desert comfort
Claire and her husband were gracious hosts. It’s a beautiful setting and I appreciated being able to use hook ups. It’s 30 minutes from the desert museum in Saguaro National Park.

Claire is a wonderful hostess and has created a lovely, inviting, whimsical campsite in her back yard, complete with a walking labyrinth and a beautiful outdoor bathroom handcrafted by he husband. The only downside is that you may not get a complete serene desert experience as there are neighbors nearby. A neighbor on side was blasting music and when that stopped we had an hour or two of quiet until the neighbor on the other side had his TV turned up super loud to a basketball game -- go Phoenix!

Quiet and Enjoyable Glamping!
The camp site was fantastic! Nice property out in Three Points that has been set up beautifully to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
Went out just for the night to test some photography equipment. Claire greeted us, gave us a run down of the place and made us feel welcome. Beyond that we were left to our own devices. We occasionally saw/heard "Jo Jo" the elusive dog that we were told about but even he did not bother us.

Fantastic tentsite, with everything you could want: gas grill, sink with running water, soft wood chipped tent pad, and even a strong internet signal at the camp. Very close to the Desert Museum and Saguaro National Park, so if the public campground is full, this is a quiet, private alternative.

Great place for tent campers, shady spot with a gas grill, sink with running water, wood chipped tent spot, picnic table with an umbrella. Spotless toilet and outdoor warm shower close by. Excellent base to explore the Desert Museum and Saguaro National Park within 10 miles. Superb.

Definitely recommend
We had a great time. The hosts, Claire and Gary were friendly and helpful. The bathroom/shower were quite refreshing after hiking in the hot sun at Saguaro NP (which was only a few minutes away). Beautiful property with plenty of shade. We hope to be back soon

Nice campground near Saguaro NP
I enjoyed staying at Claire’s place, because it is small. Can’t go wrong with a total of two campsites and a shared bathhouse! It is a quirky, and relaxing, place, with a short drive to Saguaro West. Watched some small wildlife as well.

The art of hospitality
This is an oasis. Claire and Gary have made their camp a work of art in the desert, and practice the art of hospitality whole-heartedly. My little boys and I enjoyed fresh eggs every morning, and fell asleep each night to a chorus of owls and coyotes underneath a starlit sky. Being just minutes from Saguaro National Park and the Desert Museum, I was able to share Sonoran desert treasures with my sons that I came to love 20 years ago. Thanks for the warm welcome in this home away from home!

Best HipCamp ever!
This is the best hip camp I have ever stayed at. The directions were clear and the place was easy to find. The hosts met us at the gate and gave us a tour of the property. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating, they supplied us with towels for the outdoor shower and a wagon to bring our gear from the car to the campsite. There was another family camping on site, but there was plenty of space between campsites. My partner and I especially enjoyed the mediation labyrinth! Overall a great value with many amenities. I would love to visit again and will recommend Claire and Gary’s campsite to any friends I have visiting the Tuscon area!

Visit and the birding was fantastic. But my most favorite experience was just sitting in the turtle garden reading a book while the turtle sunned on the rocks.

Desert oasis and fantastic hosts
What a joy to be guests of Claire and Gary! They created a wonderful desert oasis, with lots of little places to explore or relax. Loved the meditation maze, the chicken coop with fresh eggs, the little outside dishwashing area with picknick table and comfy seats. Also a propane bbq! Claire is super responsive and Gary has many fantastic stories to tell. Would love to come back here, one of the best HipCamps we have stayed at so far!

What stood out was how Claire and Gary were so welcoming and helpful during our stay. They have created a magical place to visit. They both could not have done more to make our stay wonderful and relaxing. The camp site with a soft mulch bed for our tent, running water at the site and a grill were unexpected but much appreciated.
We so enjoyed our walk around their property with so many areas to take in and experience. The outdoor shower room was both great to have and took a while to take in all of the small touches they added to the many it wonderful. Offering us ice packs for our ice chest was the best.
We will visit Claire and Gary again the next time we are in the Tucson area.

Camping near Saguaro NP
Beautiful property near Saguaro NP. My son loved feeding the chickens and playing with the nice dogs on the property. It was nice to be secluded and listen to the coyotes at night. Also, this area is excellent for star gazing!

Awesome change of pace for us!
We loved this place! The site had everything we needed with the outdoor furniture, gas grill, sink, and 30-amp hookup. The views from the shower house were nice and we enjoyed playing with their dog and watching the chickens. The property is very close to the National Park which was convenient.

I had such a great night camping at Claire's place. The grounds are beautifully cared for, it was dark and quiet, and Claire and her husband were very communicative and helpful. Couldn't have asked for more. They even have a great, hot shower. Would definitely camp here again.
