Weekend Fell Short of Expectation

Andy is a genuinely friendly and responsive host, but unfortunately, our two-night stay over the early September long weekend fell short of expectations. While we appreciate his efforts to make us comfortable, the RV and campsite did not feel properly maintained or ready to host guests. As experienced RV glampers, we were disappointed by the setup. We ran into major, urgent issues with the RV's battery and generator, which meant we lost access to basic necessities like running water, heat, and electricity. We had to contact Andy several times (incl. late evening) to ask for help—something we hate having to do—but because he lives 20 minutes away, the issue went unresolved for a full day of our short stay. To be fair, the chilly, rainy weather and the older age of the RV certainly didn't help the situation. We understand that unexpected limitations arise, and we appreciated Andy’s polite communication, but ultimately, we didn't feel the site offered good value for the money. We ended up packing up and checking out quietly as per the booking.

We had a great experience renting this camper! It was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for our camping trip. The host was friendly, responsive, and made the whole process easy. We would definitely rent it again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a stress-free camping experience.

Andy was an amazing host, very kind, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. The campground is peaceful, easy to access, and a wonderful place to relax and enjoy nature. My family and I had such a great time, and we truly enjoyed every moment. We would definitely come back and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet and enjoyable camping experience. Thank you for your hospitality!
