A fire pit will be made available, in respect of all fire bans, with firewood available for purchase. In 1910, Agriculture Canada set up a research centre that operated until the 1950's. The property was sold to a family that emigrated to Canada from Europe, to set begin a new life post WW2. In 2015, I purchased the property to return it to its roots - regenerative farming, training, hospitality, poverty relief and healthy living. Be our guest at The Farmhouse, a vibrant small-scale farm with a heart for the earth and its people. It's a lovely little farm, dog friendly and the volunteer host is so kind and thoughtful! She picked fresh leaves that have a calming property and gave me a tour of the farm - I saw the chicken coup "she lovingly calls the ladies" and the garden in front is incredible! Amazing river front but I did not have the time to take a dip. Chris is very responsive and allowed me to extend my stay last minute! It's a slice of heaven that is close to everything. Lennoxville lovely village is walking distance!

I set up my tent right next to the creek, and it was pure magic. The gentle sound of the flowing water was incredibly soothing — like nature’s lullaby through the night. The spot is basic and completely wild, but that’s exactly what makes it special. No crowds — just peace. 🌿 The ground is flat enough for a tent, with space for one or two campers. It’s only accessible by foot, which makes it feel truly remote. In the morning, I woke up to birdsong and soft sunlight filtering through the trees — such a calm and grounding way to start the day. 🌳 There are a few lovely little trails nearby, perfect for a peaceful walk through the woods. One of the highlights was the cozy riverside area with chairs and a hammock — such a perfect place to relax, read, or simply listen to the water. 🌟 A big thank-you to Paule and Benoît, who were incredibly kind and welcoming. Their generosity and good energy added a really special touch to the experience. A little hidden gem for anyone looking to disconnect and enjoy the raw beauty of nature. 💚 I’ll definitely be coming back.
