The Sky Pod has two-levels which includes the ground floor with an open living room and kitchen area and a 2nd floor with a bedroom and bathroom. Both levels are bordered by an entire wall of glass so you can enjoy the breathtaking scenery from the living room or from the comfort of the king-size bed.
On the ground floor there is a gas fireplace in the corner with two comfortable chairs that have direct outdoor views through two glass doors. In the middle of the room there is a dining table with two chairs.
On the left is the kitchenette which is equipped with new, quality appliances including a mini fridge, electric cook-top burner, microwave, dishwasher, Nespresso machine and plates, utensils and drink ware.
The ground floor also has a half bathroom with toilet.
On the right side is a set of stairs that leads to the bedroom on the second floor. As you reach the top of the stairs you will see a cozy sitting area in front of the large pane window. Behind you is a king-size bed which also faces the large window. There are two doors behind the bed. The door on the right leads to a walk-in closet and to the left is the door to the bathroom. The Sky Pod has two-levels which includes the ground floor with an open living room and kitchen area and a 2nd floor with a bedroom and bathroom. On the ground floor there is a gas fireplace in the corner with two comfortable chairs that have direct outdoor views through two glass doors. In the middle of the room there is a dining table with two chairs.

We had a wonderful stay at Camp dans Rouge! Rae was a wonderful host, always going above and beyond to making sure we were well settled, comfortable and had a great time there!
If you’re planning on going there over the winter, don’t hesitate! The furnace warms up the cabin very well (we were toasty, also there’s a CO2 detector so no risk there), the bed was comfy, and the place equipped with everything one might need while camping and more (kitchen utensils, but also kettle, mini fridge, etc.). We definitely had a great stay and would totally be down to come back another time!

We absolutely loved the suspended tent experience and secret paradise on Alex's land. It was heaven. Super private, so much space and little corners to enjoy peace, beauty and nature's rhythms. Alex is an amazing host, even the wildlife on his land are happy, playful and fun. We enjoyed watching the otter family swim all day, who made sure to get our attention multiple times. We felt safe, supported and left very inspired. We are grateful and very blessed for this experience. Thank you Alex :)

We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It is very cozy and warm, spacious, and equipped with most of the essentials needed for a comfortable visit. The kitchen, in particular, is very well stocked, which made our stay easier. The location is also wonderful—being close to the lake allowed us to enjoy swimming and kayaking in the mornings, which was a highlight.
That said, there are some areas that could be improved. The cleanliness could be better—we found dirty plates and kitchen utensils, and the jacuzzi definitely needs attention. It had sand inside, a piece of a metal hanger, and its cover is deteriorating. The mattresses, pillows, and bed linens are also quite old and would benefit from being replaced, as the blanket felt rough on the skin. Additionally, there were no toiletries such as shampoo available in the shower.
Overall, we had a great stay and even wished we could have stayed longer. With a few updates and improvements in these areas, the experience could be even better.

I had an absolute blast, Alex is an amazing host! I felt so welcome, a home away from home 🩵
The views are breathtaking. I stayed on the private site with the suspended tent which was pretty neat. I loved the fact that there was 2 fire pits, one to cook and one to enjoy ! I walked around the site and it was perfect, fresh air and and beautiful fresh water stream to admire.
