FACILITIES
We have a beautiful organic farm and a few spots for you to stay alongside (or in) our fields. You really get off grid here. We have water to fill up your tank and 30 amp electricity. There's wifi near the house. And for a small fee you can get wood for a campfire.
For swimming we recommend the beautiful beaches in Rondeau Park, only a few minutes away! Also, you can walk or cycle to town for an ice cream or groceries.

* Book an oil painting session for 35,- (Pay upon arrival. Excl. water mixable oil paint, but available in our store). Learn painting like the old masters!
* Nearby there's plenty to do. You won't get bored: Greenview Aviaries Park and Zoo (7min), Rondeau Park (19min) for beaches and birdwatching, breweries (25min) and Josiah Henson Museum of African-Canadian History (31min).

The site was absolutely breathtaking! The view was so incredible, the site itself was perfectly maintained and carved out amongst their beautiful property. Hearing the splashing waves from the lake with all the other natural sounds was so relaxing. Our host was extremely helpful and friendly, and they made sure we had everything we needed including firewood before they left us to our privacy! We drove almost 3 hours from our home to stay here for 1 night and it was so so worth it, we really hope we can come stay again some time. We can’t get over the beautiful and private space we were able to enjoy!

Nice large sites, Rechelle and son RJ did their best to ensure it was clean and were helpful. I would recommend to a friend or family member, and would like to return. Only downfall is no electricity hookups so it will be a good idea to bring an inverter for anything you need powered.

I was a bit hesitant to go to this campground because of the reviews and some bad experiences with private campgrounds in the past. This one far exceeded our expectations. The hosts were very accommodating and well organized, and their property is beautiful. The campsite was easily accessible, and the hike to the beach was long but well worth the effort. We loved the stay there but another group of campers were playing loud music till after midnight. We ended up calling Rechelle and she promptly addressed the issue. The firewood was plenty and they also filled up our gallon and got it to us. 10/10 for this campground.

2 nights at Lake Erie Private Beach Camping
This is a great place to tent camp. There are two sites that you can drive to and the rest of them you will have to carry your stuff. We stayed in a site that we could drive to, during a heat wave. It was roasting during the day. There's a pretty steady breeze so we were comfortable at night. For the sites you will have to walk to I'd recomend taking as little as you can get by with. It's a steep climb down to the foot bridge and a steep climb back up the other side. But, if you pack right it's a really beautiful place to camp. The notes say you need to pack in your own fresh water. It's the gospel truth. Since it was hot we needed to use our little shower so, we ran low on water. But, we drove into a nearby village named Rodney and bought some drinking water. We were fine. In cooler weather this would have been an amazing place to camp for us. If you like being away from the world and want to slow your pace down some this is a great choice. The lady and son that run the place were super nice and helpful. I would highly recommend this campground. The waterfront is gorgeous. Our site had a garbage can and a firepit.

Matt was a wonderful host!! He met us at the site and shared some tidbits about the area. The sites were close but with the trees between them and how spacious they were it felt very secluded. The bathroom was a very clean portapotty not far from the camp.
Some talked about the noise from the road, but it was very minimal and barely able to be heard over the sound of the wildlife.

Weekend Trip to Lake Erie Private Beach Camping
If you want to go to a place that depicts true nature at its finest, this is the place to be. Rob and Rosanna were the most amazing hosts I have met in my 20 years of camping experience. The site was spectacular, covered with trees and secluded with amazing views of the lake and the beach.
Afternoon breeze to the stargazing at night, everything felt surreal.
