I loved camping on Rob and Dana’s land! They were extremely helpful and the campsites were clean and pleasant. It was so nice being less than 5 minutes from Lake Superior! I would definitely stay again, Rob and Dana are great hosts!

This place is amazing! The two tents are spacious, beautifully set up, and incredibly well-equipped. Directions were clear, parking was easy, and the host was super helpful throughout. The sleeping tent had a gorgeous bed with clean, comfy sheets, and the second tent had everything I needed — a kettle, cooktop, dining table, clean water, and more. I spent the day at a nearby beach and then relaxed by the firepit in the evening, surrounded by stunning birch trees. I can’t recommend this place enough — a perfect mix of comfort and nature!

Great place. Lots of other campers, tents, RVs and cabins. Mosquito hell for an hour as the sun went down but tolerable. Showers and dishwashing station. I would return.

Nice campsites. Several campsites in treed areas with picnic table and campfire pit, and some cottages (did not check those out) if you want more shelter. Complete with sink for dishwashing and bathroom (shower and sink) facility with enough private stalls for all campers. Ample outhouses near your campsite and shower/dish washing station. Enjoyed my quiet stay at the place.

Had a great stay at site #9 Place was clean and neat! Bathrooms and washroom excellent! And finally, it was surprisingly quiet being just off 17. Wish I had more to offer to the review, but we arrived late and packed up at 4am.

This was a fantastic spot! Everything was clean (to my standards! haha!!) , well maintained.. and SO so peaceful. Our lot was perfect. Big enough for what you need it for & then some! We cooked, we danced, we had a fire all day/evening! Took a ride for fritters.. because how can you not! Spent time at the beach.. our favourite thing to do! Everything was incredibly peaceful & just what we needed. Cannot wait to visit again!! Much appreciated :)

Weekend Trip to Rosewood Forest

Matt and Caycee not only provided an incredible, sacred place to get away to, but put so much thought into what they have been establishing. They recommended and showed us around some magnificent places. We went canoeing on Lake Superior, and bathed in the waterfall. This was the adventurous, restful, fun and playful experience we were needing. The atmosphere was everything, the peace, tranquility, I felt like royalty yet amongst simplicity, connected to nature and shut off from the world. The scenery is majestic, and the little details in everything they set up for us brought a joy and warmth to my heart. Forever grateful, and we will be back! xo

Spring camping at Rob and Dana's was great! Our campsite was nice and flat with a fire pit and picnic table, surrounded by trees and birds singing. The other campsites weren't too close and the outhouses were clean and well maintained. Great access to the beach across the road and lots of things to check out nearby like the Edmund Fitzgerald Lookout and Voyageur's Lodge for apple fritters. Would recommend to anyone.

Excellent location. The site is perfect. Firepit, outhouse with tp and hand sanitizer, picnic bench, and firewood available for cash purchase. Communication with Rob and Dana was fantastic. Thank you both for a great experience.
